There is an awful lot of bro-science around. Starting with nutrition (Paleo, etc..), via training the "core" (while valid, it is an overdone staple in any marketing for thes fads) and ending with the clusterfuck that is CrossFit.
What's broscience about Paleo? It's basically a raw/organic high protein, high fat, low carb, no gluten diet and I am willing to bet it will become the gold standard of diets in 10 years. What's broscience is making people think they need grains which can't processed naturally in the body and that we need to drink animal milk. A lot of people get really sick if they attempt that feat.
