Note 3 arrived. This thing is fucking glorious. I listened to 3 hours of music and did some work on it and I'm still at 92%.
went from Iphone 5 to Nexus4 to LG G2 to Xperia Z1 (using right now), cannot go back to Iphone anytime soon now.
Just got my Nexus 5 yesterday. Took it to the AT&T store to get a sim card and the guy who works there asked me if he could play around with it. He has a iphone 5. Said my phone is twice as fast and he will be switching to a Nexus 5 shortly.
I love it so far. Only draw-back is battery life.
So I ended up getting a Nexus 5 specifically because of this comment.
My main issue with iPhones was speed.
Not fast enough? The iphone 5s is the only smartphone to have a 64-bit processor... one could say it's overkill for a phone!
I think the Nexus 5 is a better value price wise but it certainly isn't faster.

My main issue with iPhones was speed. I need a fast phone just like I need a fast PC. When things are slow it makes me angry, and when I get angry, I lose my focus, and when I lose my focus, I don't make any money.
So far I LOVE the speed of the Nexus 5, it's amazing, but one thing I really hate is the Notifications system. When I get a message, there's a small tiny popup that appears for half a second at the top of the screen, then disappears. I'd like it to STAY on the screen like with the iPhone... I looked online and I couldn't find anything. Do you know how to achieve that?
The other issue is the sound is very low, even at maximum volume. This is really shitty because in a noisy office environment I'm missing phone calls and texts. Looked online and it seems a lot of people are having the same issue.
so you've used both? a 64 bit chip doesn't just magically make everything faster, there's too many variables. i use both a lot and i can't discern any noticeable speed difference between either phone tbh.
