Anyone Play/Suck at League of Legends?

I played it loads last year and used to pwn with Orianna. Then the EU servers got split, and I lost some of my teammates and got bored.

A major problem with it is that once you get a lvl 30, most games are dominated by people who have no life other than playing LoL. A team I was in used to get pissed off with me because I was improving much slower than them... because I'd play 10-15 matches a week, and they'd be playing like 80+.

I discovered Total War after that, and lost interest.

we can all agree that lb is OP.

she is my main though. after vlad's nerf I think she is the most OP AP carry.

But I think LoL lacks in uniqueness of it's mechanics. It's not like dota. You can't see things like blink dagger SK, and ES. You can't invent something like the global strategy(tinker, zeus, chen, spectre, prophet), you just can't invent fucking sweet things noone has ever thought of. The metagame is always the same. That is why i'm looking forward for dota2. I hope it is as unique as the wc3 map. From what i'm looking at youtube I hate the graphics and the voices though.

Also the team aspect of the game is kinda different in the games.

In dota it is more like everyone has to do their job perfectly to achieve a victory.

In LoL it is more like everyone has to work REALLY TOGETHER to achieve victory.

IMO it is because the hard carries in LoL are not so hard. After 50 minutes they cannot go and pawn the enemy team by themselves. They still need tanks and support and asassins to kill enemy APs, etc.

Whereas in dota.... give me that spectre/TB/Void and leave me to farm and there isn't a any composition of 5 heroes out there that can stop me.

Carries in LoL are more like DPS glass cannons. Lacking of BKB has prolly something to do with it too.

Or TB. Range form, conjure image, manta style. 1v5? more like 5v5.

Or spectre. radiance, heart, assault, manta, butterfly, threads

Attack click their base.

Victory.

gay trynda has 5 seconds to kill everyone. Just get away from him. I know it's not as easy as it it sounds.

In dota, with a hard carry you are close to invincible after you have 3-4 core items. You are absolutely worthless before that though.

Too many disables? BKB and watch them panic.

That's what I loved about DotA and HoN, watching pro matches and even when a top top top player dies 3 times at the start from roaming ganks etc he can still come back and fucking carry his team like a boss.

One interesting thing I noticed was Radiance / Mock of Brilliance on Dota/Hon is like GG if you get it early enough.

Sunfire cape in LoL is fucking shit all game haha.

Just learn how to last hit minions, watch the minimap, and buy wards and you will be better than 99% of the people who play that fucking game.

I've already gotten one level 30 account perma banned and my 2nd level 30 account is probably 1 ban away from being perma banned. Nothing I hate more than playing a team game where 1 shitty person can fuck you over and make you waste 30 mins of your time.

The whole fucking community is a joke. The care bear aspect of it is sickening. People hate on people who rage because "it's just a game". Bitch I don't want to waste 30 mins of my time to watch you suck. If you are level 30 with more than 200+ games under your belt you should know the fucking basics. MLG and WCG (world cyber games) don't seem to be affecting the e-sport scene much for LoL when they have IEM (intel extreme masters) and IPL sponsoring big prize tourneys.

WCG is really going down in quality they had something like a 240p stream that was laggy as fuck this past tourney. Seems like MLG is geared more towards console Halo and Gears of War.

MLG and WCG had a shot to make some moves as far as competitive gaming was concerned. And, they even gave it a shot with some fun series like: WCG Ultimate Gamer. See:

Still a fun series and e-sport gaming is definitely the future. It's just a matter of who gets it right first. Once someone does, e-gaming will be like Texas Hold'em was back when Chris Moneymaker won it: everyone will be fucking playing and the elite will be making an insane amount of cash.

Hell, even Blizzard tried with their tournament arena shit for WoW. I bought and played that, but it dropped faster than Facebooks IPO.
