I like to work at home with my monitors, but sometimes I like to take my computer on trips or to the coffee shop. Using the same machine for both purposes is very convenient (and cost effective). There's nothing retarded about it. I do some tasks that are good on 3 monitors, some that are good on one.
 
The wife is a school teacher. Apple throws alot of their products at schools. Wife has 1 MacBook, 2 IPADS, 1 IPOD, and ! IPHONE.

I've never really played with any of them, but this thread has me curious.

In face all of my employees are using laptops, with dual monitors, and are more efficient since they can take their work with them. Can't really do that with a desktop, without some fancy Dropbox, or whatever scenario.

I think the only really reason to have a Desktop computer is for places like a library or your parent's house, so one one steals them cause their are too bulky. The technology has caught up, and what Apple's doing has far surpassed what any other computer company has done.

Awww..... Why you MAD? Cause I can afford monitors? They are only $799 a pop... if that's a lot of money to you, you shouldn't be wasting your time commenting on other people's monitors, and should be ask yourself why your so poor. If $800 for a monitor is excessively wealthy, I'm exciting to what you will be calling me when I break a million. What projects are you doing that wouldn't be easier to do on multiple monitors? Oh yeah, that's right, your talking shit on wickedfire. I guess you only really need one monitor for that.

I buy more monitors so I can have Wickedfire on one, and the other 2 on my business, so I can out ball on chumps like you all day and all night, and then talk shit about it, to you, on your forum.

I have 12 monitors, my real problem is I don't have any money left over to connect them to my win95 PC (desktop cause it has a lot more power).

Honestly they don't make computers like they used to.

And this new apple computer you guys are all so excited about, the only real benefit I can see to it is you can sort through multiple websites of porn with the thumbnails still large enough for you to see what theyre about ... therefore maximizing your wanking.
