Assange Is Fucked

Sidenote: Whoever owns wikileaks.com could monetize much better than the GoDaddy parked page. I can't begin to imagine how many type-ins that must have gotten in the last 5 days.

It's owned by wikia.com

Why they haven't monetized it yet it beyond me.

He was fine until he targeted the banks. All those fuckers are in on that shit, there's no way they'd let him expose that.

With his latest document dump, Assange may have cemented his place in the history books. It will be interesting to see how he is perceived in 100 years.

Journalist? Traitor? Patriot? Martyr?

History is written by the victors. If, in 100 years, Assange is on the side of the next world power (e.g. not the United States) he'll be hagiographized.

If, on the other hand, he dies like a dog in a ditch and America returns as a world super power 100 years from now, he'll be a footnote to all but likeminded hackers.

One thing is sure either way, though, Wikileaks will fundamentally change the way we gather, disseminate and allow intelligence collectors to interact with one another here in the States.

If I owned wikileaks.com I would put up a clone of the wikileaks site, but change a few details to really fuck shit up. People would be convinced that Canada and the US were on the brink of war at some point in time. Little shit like that. Would be fun.

State-sanctioned history is written by the victors (the state). Revisionist history plays an important role is clarifying the state's "mistakes."

To your point, the public's perception of Assange in 100 years can go in a lot of directions. Propaganda driven through state-sanctioned history will have a huge influence.

A good example is found in the way we perceive Lincoln. Some feel he was a friend to blacks. Others consider him a tyrant. Countless other historical figures offer similar examples. I'm guessing the same will be true of our perception of Assange.

When it comes to public perception, it's anybody's ballgame. An emotional public can be easily swayed by propaganda.

Honestly, his best bet would be to surrender to interpol. The fact that he has been releasing documents about the U.S. is one thing, especially when most of the shit he released was information that the common public knew. Now that he has put foreign officials in danger as well as undercover ops, large corporations, and their executives, he's fucked. Now he has people hunting him who just want to see him disappear, not rot in a jail cell.

Assange doesn't matter at all, he's just the face of everything. If he died today there would still be a team of people ready to make documents available to the public if someone leaked them. Hell, if all of Wikileaks was destroyed today there would be 100 other sites ready to take their place within 24 hours. I would think most government officials are aware of this.

I guess you guys don't know that his attorney is someone who works for the elites which means that he won't get arrested. They might show you in the media that he's behind bars but it's all to make you think that they catch the bad guy. Just like watching movies that looks so real. These guys are Devils at Mind Control. They hypnotize you so you can believe in the illusion. Very clever!

Then why has nothing like this ever happened before Wikileaks?
