So I'm looking to find someone that can set up and manage PPC campaigns for attorneys and other local businesses.
I've got someone that is great at networking/hustling to find clients and I'm great at closing sales. Now we just need someone that hates the aspect of sales but can set up LPs/websites/Adwords/SEO and do an OK job of it.
Basically a typical set up would go like this. We close with an attorney to start paying us $4000 a month for advertising costs at a 25% agency fee. With maybe a one time $1500 set up fee.
We need someone that would then register a domain and set up a Wordpess website/LP - then start an Adwords campaign to spend $3000 a month trying to get the attorney leads. I want someone that can optimize a campaign and landing pages but obviously this isn't CPA performance marketing - we all get paid either way. Just if the person sucks to much/is to lazy we will just loose the client. So we need someone that isn't a complete lazy idiot but also no need for someone that can run amazing campaigns - those people probably wouldn't be interested in this type of a job anyways.
So my questions to you guys on Wickedfire would be:
Where and how would you suggest looking for a candidate for this?
How should we pay them?
Am I expecting to much from one person for this kind of job? Should I find one person to set up websites/LPs and another person to do the Adwords?
What are some things you think I should be wary of?
Any thoughts or suggestions in general?
I really don't want to get super involved in this and become a big headache for me - it's mostly the others guy project and he brings in clients. He just needs me to do the final "internet marketing is so amazing" close that apparently I'm pretty decent at.
I'm fairly certain some people here already run businesses quite a bit like this already - I'd be interesting in talking with you about how we could close the sale then outsource the entire process to your business.
