I wouldn't be surprised to see a new show entirely, a spin-off.. lets say they call it "Becoming Bad" ... about Gus, and him growing up and getting to where he was before meeting Walt.

You can get hold of it all on dvd & via "illegal" means though.
There's.. fifty something episodes or so. To be honest if you start from season 1, you'd probably get into it to the extent you'd watch all the seasons in a week or 2.
You are luck you have it all ahead. I suggest you spend the next couple of days getting every episode and a big pile of meth. Then stay awake the whole weekend watching it.
I've seen all of them. It's like every one of the main characters get pushed over the edge at some point, and reveal their true character. The main guy Walt is a straight up sociopath. He didn't get turned into one, it was always there and he just let that shit out. Most any time he showed some kind of emotion, it was to manipulate someone else. He is equal to Gus in the way his mind works.
I think in the end, he will die alone. The drug money will be gone, but the kids will get the money from running the car wash. Maybe one or 2 of the other characters will still be alive.

Slightly off topic, but if anyone else is just getting into this series you can completely catch up on netflix. They have all of the episodes up to and including the 2011 season. It's roughly 46 episodes total. After I get done with those I'm going to torrent 2012.

So here is my theory.
There is a very angry grand daughter seeking revenge for her grandpa gone missing. What Walt didn't anticipate was this little girls Nancy Drew like abilities. She figures out exactly what happens and she is hungry hungry for revenge.
She flies to New York to catch up with one of the best hit men of all time. A gentlemen who goes by the name Leon. She never tells him her true motives and actually has quite an elaborate facade that leads up to her meeting with him and getting trained by him.
Now Walt isn't no dummy. When he see's this little girl on the news during a report about some massive shootout with the NYPD and all the cops taken out, he knows shit just got real, and knows he must prepare.
The last place she would suspect to look for him would be so close to New York, in New Hampshire. He knows she's going back to Albuquerque and this will give him the time to prepare for the final show down.
