Buddy on Shark Tank next Friday, doing AMA follow-up on Reddit

Just watched, no funding but I'm sure he will get a ton of orders just from being on the show.

bump for just airing.

That was hilarious. I was certain kevin was going to invest. I hope he gets a bunch of orders from the airtime.

9 to 5'er problem. We neckbeards don't need this shit.

No attachment, 2 mm blade height, don't get no bed head.

This is weird, I can't find it anywhere, yet I remember it strongly. Has this ever been talked about before? On Dragons Den in the UK? I can find the 2 people with cooking caps, but nothing about this.

Someone tell me I'm not going nuts.

Yea it was on Dragons Den UK some 1.5-2 years back. They didn't like it. Exact same product/idea. Literally 1:1 - possibly the same product?

If anyone wants, here it is:

Starts at exactly 25:00.

I think it's very cool that he's gone as far as he has with this idea, and the decision to try and get on ST instead of doing another round of friends & family financing is a good one because he'll get sales, links, press etc.

His niche is good too, if he wasn't targeting men...

I just don't think they thought it was going to be big enough. But I think he'll make himself a mil or two out of it. I'm in :)

Do you know anything about distribution? Has he got a wholesale program setup?

I watched it and he said he was pulling in 80% profit margins. Much better ROI than any of the other pitches. No surprise the sharks all made their fortunes unloading their overvalued crap businesses at the height of the dotcom bubble. David O Leary and Mark Cuban's businesses were instant-write offs for the suitor. That kid has more integrity than all of them. I wish him well
