I wouldn't be able to offer you that. If you are willing to compromise on the quality of work, I'd be able to take up the work. I'll just get a monkey, feed it some nuts and make it hit buttons on the keyboard. :)
However, I cannot commit to $1 per 500 words, it might be more expensive too depending on how many nuts the monkey gobbles up in a day and how many keyboards he damages.

I recently asked DumDum to do a project for me. Now just to let you guys know I've used alot of writers in the past, everyone from eLance to Warrior forum.

They've been all been crap! I've also been ripped off in the past too.

My experience with DumDum has been awesome!

Good communication and the articles were amazing! Very well written, only a couple grammar errors.

I can't praise his services enough, I will def come back for more!

I am still waiting for the articles, which his "team of professional writers" were supposed to deliver like 3 days ago, but he is not replying emails or PMs...
