Can you recommend a good DVD series ?

Gonna check some of these out but for watching with girlfriend/wife The Mentalist is good and certainly Game Of Thrones. If she isn't too dizzy she may also appreciate Suits (mine likes the fashion but gets confused by the stories). For comedy Its Always Sunny rules and Workaholics is great (but too immature for some).

My fiancee and I have actually really been enjoying watching Britain's Got Talent together recently (and a bit of the US one too), not sure if that comes on DVD though. Cheesy, annoying, funny, emotional, lots of loosers and some inspirational people.

When watching alone nothing beats The Shield (chicks hate it) and more recently True Detective and Fargo have been great.
 


We finished Season 8 of Dexter tonight. We both enjoyed it though my significant other had a quick cry when Dexter pulled the plug on Deb. It was a bit melodramatic but I can't see why there's so much bitching on the interwebs about the ending.

Still haven't chosen something else though ...
 
House of cards, political intrigue I dunno, I love it for whatever reason even normally I don't care for the stuff.

If you like vampire stuff and haven't seen buffy or angel recommend both series and they should be pretty cheap to get the full sets.

The us version of shameless is like a million times better .. Mainly cause the UK characters are soo damm ugly.
Tldr ..looks matter
