Case Study: Spending 25,000.00 on an offline biz using WickedFire BST services.

I use Andrew Scherer on this forum to build the citations for me, I talked about it earlier in the thread. I also plan to use Broland on this project if we can reach an agreement on payment terms lol...

Building a lot of targeted content with thought out inner-linking.

I know Broland from way back when I still used to push services, used to shore up his citations with bookmarks. He knows what he's doing, I'd recommend it.

I'm considering taking that 10k or so profit and running a PPC campaign with it to see if I can double or triple my money.

Have your run these types of lead gen sites purely from PPC before? Organic is great to sneak into a market where the PPC ROI has been blown out but if your targeting products/services outside the box then I'd think $25k could be a faster road to getting a result and with much more control. The same approach of focusing on the money makers rather than high traffic keywords would still work - and you seem to be on top of that.

Running the $10k on the keywords ranking #10 to #20 (where you wouldn't be getting traffic) would be interesting to compare.

PPC is rough in this niche 80.00 - 300.00 a click.

I, for one, will miss Julian True Flynn's attempt to derail every fucking thread on WF with his self-appreciating, autistic rants.

Also the job that was landed for over 100k yesterday morning (Very rare job in this field) was from a keyword that returned 0ms according to Google and every other piece of software out there. Sometimes you just have to say what would I type if I needed this service in this area. Forget the numbers.

That's the gold there. If I'm running keyword shitter or any tool like that and it pulls up results that later end up with 0 MS in Term Explorer etc - I'll stick track them, rank them (or maybe throw some PPC at them first with a broad match modifier if viable). They were auto generated for a reason.

<CCARTER VOICE> What If I told you there are ecommerce sites doing millions a year in sales from keywords no tool shows traffic for....

Nothing much to update. I added the new content last night, I expect it will take a few weeks for it to index fully. Still have not seen anything from Second, reports or links...

Second still owes me $3000 for a couple of websites I redesigned for him. He was supposed to pay me over 3 months ago. His communication is shit, he disappears, then when he does actually reply to the messages I've left him, he sends me some pathetic excuse about why he can't pay.

Gonna have to third not having seen anything from Second

Btw nice work Tim, if anything you've proved that sometimes the ideas that might seem crazy can work ridiculously well. Keep killing it dude.

An update on Second. He has showed me some of the work he has done and it looks great. However he is going through some personal issues and I believe he is way behind on his work. Everyone contact him to see what your status is. He seems like a good guy to me, had me worried for a minute, but he came through.

Hurricane Erika, here we go people. This is what the dreams are made of. If it hits we expect 70-100 jobs a day. In 04-05 to give you guys an example the average restoration company did between 3-10 millions dollars worth of work and then quickly retired after. It's been 10 years! We are hiring for our call center now and hiring people to drive around and sign contracts also.

I have Vin creating content for our Hurricane Erika PPC landing pages that will drop as soon as the storm hits.

I'll keep this thread updated. Sorry it's been so long but I've been distracted with a different project.

An update on this. Second has only showed me two website now, neither of which have a back link to my site yet.

He is dodging me now. Very very very difficult to get a hold of and although I have seen some nice work so far, it probably totals out to about 200.00 worth of work. So something weird is going on here.

Good luck with the hurricane. Please tell me you didn't drop that kind of money without planning milestones (& payments against them) in advance.... lol

How do you respond to 70 jobs a day , are you starting these jobs, or just signing contract and getting to them whenever you can.

From what I understand is that he is just taking a piece of the pie and getting these jobs to contractors that actually perform them.. Being a good middleman is where the money is at :)

Congratulations, Tim.

Here's to profiting off the pain and misery of others! Shall they forever pad our bank accounts.

I did drop that money. He came highly recommended from everyone. This shit happens in IM, it isn't the first time.

I'm sure we will work it out.

Lol. So I did some local searches in Miami for a restoration related keyword(lucrative).

The number 1 result is a dumbass who's using one of those auto plugins for rank and rent and he's offering to rent out the website for 199$/month. What an idiot.
