Hi, I'm Amanda, and I've had type 1 diabetes since I was 6 years old. I have had to take insulin to manage it. I lost a leg to my diabetes a few months ago, and the doctors are telling me a new prosthetic leg will cost $22,000 dollars. Since Im uninsured, I will have to come up with all of this money myself. So I thought I would ask the great people here at GoFundMe for some help in overcoming this problem. Im asking for $20,000 because even though I have diabetes I still work and make $400 a week at McDonalds so I will try my best to raise the other $2,000 myself. Hopefully, you guys can help me. I've seen many people get the help they needed here, I hope I can get some too.
My Secret: Sometimes, I cut my arms and try to commit suicide by cutting my vein but many times family and friends have caught me right when Im about to end it all, and they stop me and we all cry together! I hope I get the money needed for my prosthetic leg, or I really don't know what I'll do!
