Clash of the Titans!

It was nasty. The 3d aspect made it extra nasty. Barely anything was 3d and all it did was hurt my eyes.

The movie specifically got pushed back a few weeks to render it in 3D. On top of that its a WB movie, WB blu-ray releases suck balls for extra content, I can imagine the extra 2 carrots and can of coke they paid the renderes to magically fluff up the whole thing in about 8 weeks...

i loved that movie when i was a kid.
The medusa head part was awesome

I also loved Revenge of the Ninja as a kid, re-watched it recently and swallowed and shat my own barf...If you have a happy memory of an old movie, I recommend you die with that memory..

Then again I re-watched an original, maybe watching a remake will change your view..

I think I remember that theater...it's the one that serves beer right?

Hell yeah, I ordered 2 clean Martinis (I hate dirty Martinis) and a pitcher of beer with dinner (mini burgers and a philly cheesesteak) tonight.

I haven't been to a regular theater for as long as I can remember.
They have these theaters all over Texas. Basically, they ROCK.

Movie Tavern & Studio Movie Grill FTMFW!

I Loooove the movie tavern, I can't get beer yet but still burgers + movie = awesome in my book.

I'm gonna go see Clash of the Titans tomorrow, heard some negative things but I gotta check it out anyways.

Yeah I live in Fort Worth and I'll be attending.

Do you think you're going to be able to make it?

I'm right next to Keller so we are pretty close, in fact I think I drove through your area about a week ago on the way home from a party.

I thought it was a decent movie. However, I showed up way too early. Which meant that I finished the 18 gallon cup of coke way too soon. I had to pee so bad that I was ready to beat the shit out of Qui Gon Jinn when he shouted to release the Kraken.

Horrible movie 3d was garbage, if you want to see a 3d movie that actually makes it look like your there, go see how to train a dragon, fucking awesome 3d.

It was very cool. Did it remind anyone else of "Percy Jackson and the lightning thief" ?

I thought that the Kraken, was mabe a love child between the Star Wars Monster, and the 300 Dude...

what do you think?

If you enjoy cinema, always follow screenwriters and directors (rather than actors, action, trailers, etc.). IMDBing their resumes is helpful.

Clint Eastwood = yes

Michael Bay = no

Paul Thomas Anderson = yes

McG = no

Christopher Nolan = yes

Louis Leterrier (Clash Of The Titans) = no

Saw it. I enjoyed it. I went in thinking it was going to be really bad, and it wasn't. So if you go in with low expectations you'll be pleasantly surprised. There was a lot of things I didn't like, they changed the story alot, which in of it'self is fine, but I think they took alot of the emotional elements out and tried to make it more of just a ROAR movie if that makes sense. It felt kinda like I was watching a movie that was made by some of the same people that made 300. I had no connection to the movie (didn't really care who lived or died). That being said the special effects were (of course) so much better than the first and that made it really fun. The whole medeusa scene was fantastic. And I liked the Kraken. (I think they swiped him from cloverfield though). So if you're going to see this movie, see it in the theater, I'm not sure it would be worth it on dvd. I think I only enjoyed it as much as I did because I liked the first. However, the hubby has never seen the first one and he enjoyed it as well (mostly for the reason I stated at the beginning he thought it would be horrible, was going to placate me, and was pleasantly surprised)

Having taught a mythology unit for years, I perked up at the first preview I saw for it thinking that maybe, just maybe, they would try to actually keep some of the mythology correct this time around. But then two seconds later I slumped back in my seat and knew it wasn't to be.

Now, the remake of the Karate Kid with Jackie Chan looks worthy of seeing...

Can you take kids to see Clash? How gory is it?

They need to remake Jason and the Argonauts, one of my favorites as a kid.. anybody remember this scene?
