Been a Mac guy for a few years now...it's not that I hate Windows, I just prefer Apple's OS.

Right now I'm looking at getting another 27" iMac, the total for the one I built is around $2,500. These are the rough specs:

For the same price, could I build a way better PC and run Linux (I don't really like how Windows 8 looks)? PC masters, I call upon you.

Will mostly be running basic web dev/design programs and then a shitload of Diablo 3.

If you don't mind over paying then go for it. The computer is fine but you could get a much more powerful PC for the same price. The mac screens are pretty impressive though.

I had a laptop PC and I kept having problems with it. Always did weird shit. So I said screw it. I'll try a MacBook Pro and it's probably been one of the best decisions I've made. It's not because of the OS. They are just made better. I haven't had ONE problem. Plus I already run Windows 7 on Parallels and works perfect for what I need it for. You pay for what you get.

You must have bought a piece of shit laptop PC then. I spent $2.5k on my last PC build and I assure you it's better than a $2.5k Mac. No problems with "weird shit".

Definitely. There is no question about that, eveybody knows that when you pay for apple you pay for their brand, not for the specs. If you are not apple fanboy than definitely spend your money in a smarter way.

Those who get "weird shit" probably has their hands growing from their asses :)
This is a myth.
