Cops Fires On Van Full Of Children

Being a cop can be stressful, most people don't realize it, it sucks these kind of things happen

And so to be a cop, one should handle stress well. But any Tom, Dick, and Harry can be one with nothing but a high school diploma and the ability to run a 14 minute mile. You can't hand people a gun and power all the while requiring little more than the local McDonalds does in terms of education and experience. I would NEVER fire on a van with children in it, and I'm a damn good shot. There is too much you can't predict. Plenty of potential for a ricochet, the bullet fragmenting, etc.

He wasn't blindly shooting...

Look at his back, he was huntched over shooting at the ground toward the tires.

He had a clear vision, his target was within a close distant, and his line of fire was well within reason.

And.. He had full control, look at his posture/body language.

NOTHING wrong with that bro.

...

It's another story if he was firing into the van's windows/above the tires. If that were the case the window would have broken, or a tailight would have done the same..

He made the right choice.

..

My mind is BLOWN that people are defending these assholes.

Bunch of urbans, no respect for the law, think they can do whatever the fuck they want.

Plus put their kids in dangerous situations.

Fuck them. Only reason I don't care about the male kid, is because he's a kid... At 14, he knows better, but still he's not an adult yet, these things will happen..

But the mother? Lock that bitch up, she deserves all this. You don't drive away from a cop two freaking times.

That says to me, something is WRONG. Good people DON'T do that, criminals do.

If I were a cop I'd wonder are these kidnapped children? Is this male her son, are they working as a team?

Are these small kids in the back are in danger..

I'm going to do whatever it takes to stop the 2 attackers as quick as possible.

...

Side note: Sure the mother might have panicked, but she refused to get out of the car to talk to them in the first place. You KNOW she's full of shit.

Side note #2: The cops didn't taze him, or shoot him with the gun. They COULD have pepper sprayed the mother, tazed her, shot her, etc. CLEARLY they were trying to keep things calm.

I agree, when is it ok for people to run from the police? All the police did was try to kept the situation in control. Instead of trying to shoot out the tires what if the policed chased them, and in that high speed chase the driver looses control, causes an accident and kills everyone in the car, I'm sure this board would be full of people staying that its the police's fault, they should of shot out the tires when they had the chance.

no we would probably say women cant drive or something lke that.

Maybe when they're spraying broken glass into your children's faces?

Call me crazy, but a psychopath with a baton smashing broken glass into my kids face would probably convince me to GTFO of that situation.

And if a fat fuck decided to use my van full of kids as target practice I'd be flooring it to get out of there too. Let's see, should I pull over and let officer dipshit murder my family? Maybe he'll stop if I pull over, right?

I'm driving away a lot faster from someone who's shooting at me than someone who's just following me.

I'm not sure how that's not common sense. Then again nothing shocks me anymore.

What if the police let her leave and just mailed her the speeding ticket that started the entire incident...

Breaking people's windows and shooting at them is wrong...
That is until you put on your magic costume.
