Corporate/Enterprise level alternatives to Google Analytics?

So,

I'm just wondering what companies with 1mm+ monthly UV's use for analytics software beyond the realm of Google Analytics. Non proprietary, non-in house. Not interested in outsourcing dev; I'm sure there's some good stuff out there available to purchase.

Paid solutions are of course what I'm looking for. Doesn't need heatmap capabilities but I assume many will support that even if it's in an extensional setting.

Just curious as to what else is out there. Detailed conversion reports are necessary.

Any links or resources would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Also, let me clarify that I'm open to free solutions too, I just assume the most full featured alternatives will cost money. And maybe GA will end up being the best solution, but maybe not. Need to investigate alternatives.

So far I'm considering:

Omniture
Coremetrics
Webtrends
Hitslink
Unica
Accenture

Any input re: these vs GA? These in general? Ones I missed?

I love the GA advanced segmentation, but I've used omniture and urchin in the past. Urchin 7 was released in august, and although I haven't tried it, it looks sweet. Omniture was good back in the day, if the price is right, I'd use it.

I've used getclicky. Its shit.

Very interested to hear what other good solutions are out there.

I can only speak for Omniture and Coremetrics.

Site Catalyst is killer but requires a lot of setup to make it truly useful. In essence it is an empty black box. Costing is base + data warehouse (# of calls charged in buckets) so your traffic volume and required metrics will dictate overall cost. The new javascript cookie is very cool.

Coremetrics has a really sweet interface but unlike SC (from what I have seen) cannot pull out granular data on a whim without machinations. Costs about ~20% less than SC in every scenario I've built.

Haven't played with Omni Test&Target but looks very cool, and combined with SC would add the functionality which fully replaces GA and conversion opt.

i like my analytics like i like my girls, simple and easy. so getclicky works well for me.

I've implemented SiteCatalyst and built reports for large companies, and most of the times, the necessary reports are available through GA. The level of sophistication that GA has grown recently makes it a very competitive enterprise level analytics tool.

Avanish Kaushik's blog has some useful information to analyze GA data. Web Analytics Blog | Occam's Razor by Avinash Kaushik

I can speak mainly for Omniture.

Use it in-house for top company. But like HConvert said its definitely a huge black box when first purchased. Configuration and all began a little over a year ago and we're still tweaking and modifying everyday for SiteCatalyst, however, the data is superb. You can slice and dice/segment all your data however you like just as long as you have an inhouse/outsourced developer (we have 2) to do what your brain (seo/analytics team) can think of. You can segment your data per locale, view how the user completely interacts with your site and view the sales funnel through every action they take.

SiteCatalyst, You must really know your shit when it comes to brand/non-brand keywords and your sales funnel on your website or else you'll be stuck in limbo trying to implement the fucker. It took a little over three months to fully automate the segmentation of keywords so that we have keyword level data thats broken down to where we can attack in a systematic approach.

Cost is up the ass. Lets just say if you don't have a top notch inhouse seo, analytics, and omniture team, the cost just can't be justified.

Test & Target is also fantastic, omniture in general, & like HConvert said, it has replaced GA completely. But its also because we've devoted so much time and resources to it that there's no point in turning back. DAILY changes, daily updates, etc. But if you're wanting detailed conversion reports, test & target is just the thing for you (Test & Target + BO - Crystal Reports + Adwords/whatever ppc platform data = Absolute knowledge and control) - Implementation: Fucking priceless.

& If you really want all the raw data you can get your hands on, Discover is great too, however, Discover is an additional cost and per license is fucking ridiculous.

Omni doesnt have a heatmap. But you can view all actions (breadcrumbs) and go from there.

omnitures excel client is dope too. you can spat out data out of omniture straight into a spreadsheet and chop data further with excel charts and shit. i do it nearly everyday. sitecatalyst internal charts suck balls.

Other thing, we just don't want the big g having our analytics data, they already have enough as it is...

KissMetrics sucks. meh. not impressed.

GetClicky is dope when you're comparing it over GA for freebies. Haven't tried any of the others.

2cents and a first post *cheers to me*. Hope I wasn't too vague.

Avinash says that you should spend 90% on people and 10% on tools for analytics.

All the tools puke data....finding people that can analyze the data and make decisions and strategies based on the data is where the money is at in analytics.
