Here is a tip, I have written but held back on posting at least a half dozen times.

Indians don't write how they speak. No one writes their accent. Indians are educated in a British style system, odds are that Sumit, with his 160 IQ is probably more literate than 98% of the population of North America.

Since we know he is smart, and handsome, and talented and incredibly popular, maybe it's time to evolve the character into someone who is capable of social spamming with a little bit of domaining on the side, instead of working at a 7-11 or driving a taxi cab.

Care to explain what you mean by this?

Yes, it really amazes me sometimes how far back americans/british are in language skills. Yesterday I watched both Smaxor and Cakes interviews, and I was amazed by that kid Wes. He can code up a piece of software that makes thousands of people a lot more money, he could sell that thing for 2k and it still would not be enough, yet he barely can articulate a question (don't give me the dyslexia excuse, I am too).
My brother is currently in a British University, and the British students in his class cannot write a simple essay.

Realising this, I look back at my life. Was I so fortunate to have higher education? Was I from a wealthy family to receive special tutoring?
Not really.
I went to public school, yet somehow I was always hungry for more information. My library is huge, its range from philosophy to computer science to jungle survival guides.
The university did not give me anything, what I learned, I figured out myself. Actually, now, I can go back and correct half the teachings they gave us. It was all bullshit.
Now, why don't you crack open a book? Here is a good place to start: Amazon.com: The Mafia Manager : A Guide to the Corporate Machiavelli: V.: Books

Yes but you are clearly intelligent whereas 90% of the world's population are not. You don't have to be intelligent to go to University, my mom goes to University here in Britain and she says her classes are full of completely illiterate people (most of them immigrants) who can barely string sentences together.

I recently left secondary school (equivalent of high school in the USA) and although a lot of people in my lessons scored the highest marks on every test, to speak to them you would still be able to recognise that they weren't intelligent people. Sure they are academically intelligent, they could pass tests by simply learning information and completing essays, but they lacked common sense, initiative and critical thinking skills. They would never excel in an industry like affiliate marketing which requires you to be innovative.

Like you said being intelligent is about being able to figure out thing for yourself and not having to be spoon fed everything...

jacked already, there's copies all over my adboard

sumit's selling everything from gay over 40's dating to shamwows

Not sure if you do realize that most Indian people speak atleast two (Hindi and English) or three languages (Hindi, English and local language) if not four like me (Hindi, Punjabi, Marwadi and English) -- and that certainly helps in exercising the brain-cells.

See, I just made the point that Indians are smart, and now you are trying to prove a comprehension deficit.

My grandmother and grandfather spoke Hindi, Marwadi and English.

My point is, the Sumit character is an IM. He should write more like you, than some digitalpoint ebook hawker.

What is a good CTR for facebook? I currently have a 0.14 CTR I know its low but have tried a few differen't ad's

It's not that low really (depending on the niche you're running). 0.14 is the highest i've been able to achieve with dating so far but I haven't run it that much yet. However, on my newest campaign which is my first really profitable one my main ad is doing .65 CTR and i've had a few other ads in another campaign on .5, it's all relative to the offer really...

Thanks right now mostly trying out freebie type offers so I know the CTR isn't going to be to high.

Accents don't come across well in the written word.

If they did, for those of us in the south, that sentence would actually look like:

Aaacens don come across gooood on those them there intertubz.

teri maa di.....hehe just kidding. Seriously, didn't realize there are so many Indians in this forum.

As for guys asking why his ad sucks? Really you couldn't be expecting any kind of return from that ad. Like some said in here, you'll have more chances of getting a higher CTR, if you target both male and females as well. Split test at least 3 or 4 different ad creatives.

The Sumit meme has potential, but it needs to go big time like Daniel Kemp. The problem is, what do you do when the real Sumit wants his identity back?

MSNBC
Mean kids at Wickedfire, a gay marketing forum, have been using the identity of an indian student to market berries and other queer fruits.

Dullspace, have you considered the paradox that could be created by Sumit clicking on his own ad, to compete against himself in an IQ test?

I can hear the fabric of time ripping...

Wow, my accent even better than that:)

Ive been living in LA for quite few years. I met in PubCon last year a guy from Texas, damn it, I could not understand him well... I mean it!

Adi

What? What? What?

Seriously:
Then:

Indians don't write how they speak. No one writes their accent. Indians are educated in a British style system, odds are that Sumit, with his 160 IQ is probably more literate than 98% of the population of North America.

Now:

Indians don't write how they speak. No one writes their accent. Now, I admit that Sumit is an exception. Even then, since most Indians are educated in a British style system, the odds are that Sumit, with his 160 IQ is probably more literate than 98% of the population of North America.

Fairy tales:

US/North: "Once upon a time, there lived a girl..."

US/South: "Y'all are not gonna believe this sh** of a story about this girl...."

India: "Vuns uppon a time, ...hey where are you running yaar? You only told me to tell this..."

Accents don't come across well in the written word.

If they did, for those of us in the south, that sentence would actually look like:
