Right!

Today, I am now officially wondering if affiliate marketing is genuinely a viable proposition! I mean what is the point in creating ads for Facebook and Google when they keep disapproving them, BECAUSE the direct link URL your using "either cloaked or not" is not the same as the landing page!

I've had 13 ads disapproved today by FB, meaning long term the need to create landing pages for every ad offer you decide to promote?

F*** ME, Affiliates work hard enough researching, creating ads and THEN, spending hard earned money on buying traffic to promote other peoples silly products - let alone having to create STUPID LITTLE LANDING PAGES - WTF! Arggghhhhh!

Anyway, I feel better now, thanks :)

But seriously, what can you do?

Dude, chances are you will want an LP anyways, and chances are youll want a few LPs for each offer to split test.

And 13 ads is nothing...buck up son, or you wont make it. How bad do you want it, doesnt look like you want to work.

No m8, I do want it to work, but I work hard enough developing sites without having to create little LP's for offers. I honestly thought, going into this, that I could direct link to the advertisers offer, then work by the stats at FB keeping an eye on daily budgets etc.?

So I have to now think about creating LP's for every offer - OK how about this.. how about I create a large Flash/animated page/banner with the bare bones of the offer and a BIG click here button with the AFF link embedded - Rather than waste hours of time creating content for a template or blog page?

Do you think Google and FB be happy with that?

Stop being lazy. Most likely you'll need to submit dozens to hundreds of ads to FB DAILY. Direct linking rarely produces acceptable profit margins. So, you will need a lander most likely. Also, be sure that they offer is Facebook compliant. That means you have to become one with FB's Advertising Guidelines. Start reading their guidelines, building a lander and creating a shit load of ads. Rinse, repeat.

This is what I thought initially, too, but TANSTAFL, man. The low-hanging fruit has been well and thoroughly picked. There are a lot of ways to push these offers, but the easy methods are beyond saturated.

Didn't you get the memo? Facebook is dead.

Dude, either your naive or it's you way of trying to deflect the surge of affiliate marketers currently crossing over to FB from other networks..

Thanks Mike, I'll try some different stuff over the next week, and also some new offers to promo because I don't think FB like ads for instance "Get A Nikon D5000" (user submits Zip code) :)

Do you have FB Ad Manager? It makes it a lot easier to mass submit large quantities of ads.

Additionally, if you want to succeed in affiliate marketing, you're going to want to learn how to build landing pages. It's a necessary skill, plus you're developing great talents for design, copywriting, conversion optimization, etc..

I've been reading about AM for months now, and I know there are lot's of methods out there being used every day by experienced AM's "like most here". But in the end, these methods you either stumble across in your humble quest for knowledge which takes FOREVER, or you have a brain flash every now an again!

Rule number 1. Never ask an AM what kind of ads he's promoting or what's making money today.

So for humble start offs like me "and others alike", it's a hard, gradual trip up Frustration Street. So if anyone has any pointers.. it would be a welcome help.

I definitely beg to differ on both points. It always has to do with the content of the offer.

i thought this was a rant about fb retro-actively disapproving ads which is very annoying.

what you're talking about is very tame son
