Hell yeah.My wife is pushing me to get a j-o-b so I'm keeping up appearances but I've got three kids and I am GOING to make this work.
Besides, I love a challenge.

Sorry to hear that Chris, but I'm sure it was a blessing in disguise
I need to get out of my shit job too. My balls aren't big enough to quit quite yet (even though I'm making about the same doing IM). The 2 young kids thing (with wife on mat leave) doesn't really help in that dept.
But I love AM too. I'm always up for a challenge, especially when all the hard work is put into my pockets and not someone else's.
A lot of guys seem to hate working at home... just a suggestion..alot of guys I know take a laptop to a starbucks and that becomes their office. Plenty of social interaction if you want it and lots of good lookin women walking by![]()
While I like the idea of working at a Starbucks, the idea of actually working on a laptop makes me want to hit myself in the head with a mallet.
Mouse, full-size keyboard, two 24 inch monitors...I love sitting in front of my computer, man. If I could take it into Starbucks I would.
Work in a fucking cubicle for a while.. blows ass.
Wage serfdom is the worse. I hated how every job I have ever had the boss made me feel like he was doing me a favor by hiring and would take full advantage by working my ass off, yet when it was time for a raise "now isn't a great time." routine.
The only way to get a good raise is to find another job... or forget the rat race and make money on your own freelancing or AM. Nothing beats having multiple streams of income and being able to choose who you work with and on what!
What monitor did you end up going with? I've been looking to upgrade my behemot CRT for a while now.
As far as the thread goes, I have only started learning about AM but I like what I see so far. It's hard to not be enthusiastic when the polls indicate this is a pretty lucrative pursuit that only requires persistence and a little bit of creativity.
And to think that some people pay 8$+ to get a person to write a few things in a form was unheard of for me before 2 months ago when I was researching about how to properly index my website, I stumbled on SEO and eventually here. I think this may possibly be the best "stumble upon" I ever had.
