Hey everyone, I'm working on opening up a Local SEO/SEM business with a friend here. One of the services we will be offering is Google Places Optimization.

I currently have a demo one I am working on to present to clients, however I'd like to test this on a live business.

What You will be getting:

  • Visible listing on google places for your local term

Why Do I need this A spot on Google Places?

  • When people search for your local term, this will essentially give you a top spot with a direct link to your business/site. You don't even need a website for this! Just a phone # and address will do!

If you don't have a business phone # let me know and I'm sure we can work something out to make it successful for you!

Payment
  • $100.00 for top 10 google places listing

Don't have a phone # or address? No Problem!
  • I can get you a maps/placing location even if you don't have either of these! More details will be given to the purchaser.

Reviews:

  • I can give away 1 review

I think I can apply for the FREE review, please let me know what do you need from me.

Thanks and regards,

Ravee

Interested in the no address bit, as it's the major roadblock I'm dealing with ATM.
Hit me up.

Hey mate, I am going to give it to PFgannon, just because I know he has been here longer and has also had good itraders. PM me though and I'd be more than happy to help you out! Thanks for the interest!

Hit me up.
I've shot you a PM, thanks for the interest! I am especially interested in testing this out a bit more as well (I have 1 listing I'm currently working on like this).

PM has been sent
Responded.

I'm about to start working with River on everything. Obviously this is a fairly long term project... especially for his choosen field. Hopefully I can get him to update periodically with how things are going! I really appreciate all the interest and responses, I've done my best to get back to everyone who has contacted me.

Looking forward to working with you in the near future.

Thanks! As am I, in order to get a good grip on what I'm doing I'm only taking on 1 client at a time so I should be free in a few weeks. I don't want to over promise and under deliver (plus I need to get the experience for myself before going live locally).

Interested to see some reviews.
Should be a few weeks unless people decide to post periodic updates with their thoughts.

Just to give some more confidence- I just noticed my dummy listing (that I will be using as a case study for local clients) is now ranking on google places spot 2 for an uncompetitive keyword.

I'm interested once I see some reviews/proof.

Admittedly skeptical, since there was no mention of vertical selection stipulations.

If by vertical selection stipulations, you mean me clarifying what I am willing to work with, I am doing that via PM for people who have contacted me. I really can't decline anything without doing market research. The same goes for accepting work as well. If I think it will take along time I will let you know, if i'm not sure I can rank it I will let you know, if I feel confident I will let you know. I'm not here to blow out people pockets, I'm here to improve my Google places skills for my future business.

As I said this is primarily for experience for when I launch my local business with a friend. This is a service I will be offering to clients so I figured I would give WF the opportunity to test my skills. I'm not saying I will rank you #1 or anything (this can be done over time), but my main goal for this is to get the clients listings to PG1 for Google places.

Go ahead and contact me so we can talk.

how is google instant affecting google local searches

Google local searches pull up relevant to the keywords searched. So it is affecting both Google Places and General SEO in the same manner. This is my experience at this point.

It actually could possibly be beneficial though because as the results are changing with google instant so are the google places results.

To be honest, I haven't noticed any difference with or without google instant on any of my sites or projects (in terms of SEO in general).

OP please explain something to me, you opened up a Google Places Listing ranking services 2 days after asking http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate...-local-biz-listings-how-improve-rank-all.html

I was able to get a few dummy listings up and ranked for their targeted keywords (obviously low competition). I didn't say I was getting #1 spots, nor did I say I'm a pro at this. I simply said to get more experience while helping some WF people out before I open this up to my local clients.

I'm still reading day by day and have a few different listings that I'm trying different stuff with to find tune some methods. I'm not giving anyone unrealistic expectations either. I'll be having some updates from a few people I'm working with, so if you don't trust me just sit tight. Nothing wrong with asking how others are improving their clients rankings is there? After all, there are always new tricks and methods to be learned.

lol, pwn'd.
Not really... Again, if you don't trust my service just keep checking back for updates from people who I'm working with on here.
