Just out of intrest. What is the situation if the places listing do not display by default for a given term. i mean, is it worth pursuing?? The phrase is

I've tested this out before as per a clients request. I had an insurance client I helped rank for a term that had no previous google places listings, after I completed my work he was on a 1-pack by himself.

I've heard stories of it not working as well though, however haven't had that issue myself. If you want shoot me a PM with what you're considering and I can give you my thoughts...

There is already a listing. Can i forward you the analytics that i have been given? i trust your discretion.

I mean, the listing was pre-existing I worked on as well, however they had not targeted that particular keyword before (neither had any other business apparently). I was giving you my experience with targeting keywords for google places that do not have current places ranking.
