Well, may i politely suggest that maybe you reconsider your prices until you find your feet. To ask for $100 for something that you just admitted you have picked up in two days seems a bit steep. I'm not saying your ripping ppl off just u know....

Is this listings in the results of the main page as well as maps? In the bit at the top with the map?

I haven't actually quoted that for anyone who has contacted me via PM. In fact I have yet to give a price quote for people above what I feel the expenses would be. So essentially I am doing it just for the experience and so I can confidentially say I have worked with a diversified group of businesses/websites/people on this.

So yes, you are 100% correct that I should change the price listed above. In fact, if a mod can do that for me change it to "contact me for price quote" since it tends to be different per keywords and competition.

I'm a bit unsure what you mean in your last question- Yes my goal is to have your website, contact info, and name showing to the right of the map as well as with an Alphabetical letter assigned to your listing. This is only for the maps/places section, not regular SERP SEO.
 
And by google places you mean the results that show up on the main page, with a map aswell as on google maps if you query that?

So yes showing up in maps as well as the listing on the right, not regular page SEO.
 
Yeah that's what i meant... That is probably more valuable anyway for local stuff. It would need to be in the top 7 though, right?

Then Yes, we are talking about the same thing. I've run some case studies/tests for myself that I found quite interesting.

I ranked a dummy site for a keyword on regular SEO pg 1, and then for google places. I then used different phone numbers to track potential lead amounts. The google places far out did regular SEO local rankings on leads.

Everything I'm doing is purely for my experience, help out a few WF guys, and maybe pick up a few testimonials, etc for my new business. I'm planning to make the real money with my face to face clients.
 
Sounds good. I'll let you get on now! If you have a need for a detailed review, i have one in mind that i would be good as a test run. Then if that works, my dad's business for one more and i'm sure i could sell this all day!

Contact me via PM, let me know some details. I appreciate the challenging posts too by the way. I know WF has been dealing with some crap in this section, and I hope to not be apart of that. I've got some nice local SEO connections through here, hopefully can keep growing them as well!
 
That is the point. I make money on here too so if somebody has a bad experience then ultimately i lose out too! PM on way.

Just giving an update for everyone, I now how this guys listing on PG 1 for a certain keyword he is targeting, now time to get it up to the actual visible 7 spots. Everything should be coming into place nicely soon!

I moved up to page 1 for 2 of my keywords, 1 position off page one for the other keyword after google realigned their SEO robot magic a couple weeks ago, but I'm trying to push it back up there with a couple more backlinks. Overall I'm pleased with the results.

The most irritating thing about google local is that it puts sites that don't belong on the listings on the first page because the robot is apparently stupid. There is a life insurance agency that does AIG only on page 1 for health insurance in my zip, and no idea why they're there because they don't sell any health insurance, along with about 5 property/casualty insurance shops.
 
Hey guys, I'm open to take on another order. I'd prefer a business with a physical address that has not yet been listed, or a business with a pre-existing listing.

Also open to doing some local SEO work as well...
