You're assuming the rich beta will want a faithful girl, a long-term relationship or marriage. What if he wants none of them? What if he's satisfied with the variety offered by prostitution (where it's legal)?

Sure there are plenty of rich cuckoldees in this world, but also many, should I say, "savvy" wealthy guys who don't have game but know how to give the short end of the stick to (intentional or unintentional) golddiggers.
 
And to answer the OP's question, all else being equal yes more money will generally correlate to higher quantity and quality.

You just have to remember that wealth =/= attractiveness. You can either spend it on improving yourself (working out, learning game, etc.) or spend it on higher-quality whores. Depends on what you want in life.
 
Women instinctively favor a man who has a high chance of survival. Your ability as a man for suvival is determined by your genes. So if you have genes that enable you to survive better than most other men, obviously you will get more attention from women.

Today, your chances of survival is mostly determined by money. Its pretty simple, the more money you have, the better you will be able to provide yourself shelter, food and security. And even more importantly, the better you will be able to reproduce succesfully and pass on your genes that are well programmed for good survival.

And since our only two reasons for living are survival and replication, the better your ability to survive, the more offers you will get from females for replication.
 
In my experience it's not the money, it's the lifestyle. If you make 500k a year but you save all your money and live like a bum it won't get you more girls.

If you make no money but you hang out with rich / cool people and do what rich / cool people do it's gonna be easier to get girls and keep them around.

This doesn’t necessarily prove that good looks outperform money (deleted swagger because two items against one is uneven). We need to consider the amount of money and degree of good looks. Suppose Guy #2 is SO RICH that the allure of Guy #1 is weakened to the point that 80% of women choose him and 20% Guy #1.

In addition the rich man’s looks have been crippled to help drive home the fact that money is less important. A rich man is equally as likely to be good looking as the man with modest income. He is just as likely to be fit, interesting and have game. Everything about Guy #2 in your example unappealing besides his money.

Why not be both?

Be Guy #1 AND #2. Let the chumps deal with their shit, whether it's being fat and ugly (both fixable) or poor (again, fixable).
Personally, I'm working on my body (for myself, for no one else), Im looking to become a copywriter (actively learning) to make money and pursue a successful career, and a whole other list of shit. The world's not black and white.

Don't be guy A or B, choosing between money, or looks/personality. Be the fucking awesome guy whose good looking, funny and epic, who also happens to be fucking minted.

That's my plan. Anyhow, I've got a girlfriend whose grown up in houses worth just under a million pounds. She's down to earth as fuck, pays for me most of the time (paying off debts I owe mostly at the minute), hates the idea of me paying for anything for her. She's gorgeous (although Im biased, but the amount of guys that hit on her backs it up -and don't ask for pics, cos you ain't getting shit). Intelligent girl as well.

I dunno man - before her, I had the same idea about women - that they were simply manipulative bitches, who just try to advance their own standing, and while this is partly true (after all, who wants to be with a loser??) it's not the whole case. Our past experiences dictate what we believe now, and if you've had shitty experiences before (which most of us have - US and UK women think they're far too fucking good now, that they deserve everything on a plate, fucks me right off.)

Just my thoughts.

I think women are constantly in battle between their spiritual and animal side.

Their spiritual side wants them to get a sweet man, well educated and with good family values.

Their animal side wants them to get a strong, dominant and sexually-charged man.

Not sure where Money fits though... maybe both lol
