That's my point. All those items were "safe", and I'd guess "100% safe" by your standards, but now, the news is coming out. It's just a matter of time before Acai makes the list. You can kid yourself if you want.
No, an acai berry supplement will never make that list, because it's just a friggin supplement. The difference between an acai berry supplement and Hoodia, for example?
The only people who should avoid acai berry supplements (supplements and not products which contain acai berry extracts among "a few other" ingredients) are the ones who are allergic to the fruit (the same can be said about any other fruit or supplement out there).
On the other hand, here's what Drugs.com has to say about Hoodia:
Do not take Hoodia without first talking to your doctor if you
- have diabetes or if you are taking a medicine to control your blood sugar levels,
- have any heart problems or take any heart medicines,
- have a bleeding or blood clotting disorder or are taking a medicine to increase or decrease the clotting of your blood such as aspirin, warfarin (Coumadin), or heparin,
- have anorexia, bulimia or any other eating disorder.
A natural supplement is not dangerous, shitty weight loss products such as the ones on that list of yours CLEARLY are (you don't need the FDA to tell you that, wtf, it's more than obvious) kthxbyervwcpypls
