Seen a lot of posts here and on ppc.bz about don't hate these guys are going to make 10 million.
There's a few things to point out about the "guru game".
This launch, if it sells out which it probably won't, will sell 500 copies of a $2,000 product.
Profit margins for the three clowns is around 45% after paying there 50-60% commission to affiliates (depending on who promotes usually gets a bigger cut of monies).
Prizes for top affiliates usually eat up 5-10% of rev. I think they skipped out on big prizes and the top is just a vacation or something. I'm too lazy to ask and find out. For example the top prize for Frank Kern's list control was a brand new Ferrari F430.
Then you have refunds which eat up a solid 10-20%, assuming they have/honor their refund policy.
Then of course your general costs if it's a physical product, etc. But we won't even both counting that.
Being conservative on all front we'll say around 40% is profit. So 4 million dollars assuming they sold out.
Divide by three (three people selling it)...
$1,333,333.33
Being more realistic with the numbers they'd all get around $1,000,000 for their efforts.
Not a bad pay day at all.
But not as much as everyone tries to make it out to be.
And where you can get an 'eat all you like chinese buffet' for only $7.99
I think you found yourself with an extra zero at some point man. 500 * $2000 = $1,000,000
So at an estimated 40% profit they're whackin up $400,000 three ways, like you said being realistic they should be looking at $100,000 each not $1,000,000 each. ($100K is still better than a kick in the nuts)

I'll take the six figures. Granted, I wouldn't want to put myself in a video like this, but I'll still take the six figures.
It is so much easier for noobs to pay $2000 to these gurus and soothe their conscience for a while that they are doing something to get out of the rat race that they will continue doing it, no matter what.I am so fucking tired of trying to convince newbies that thousand dollar systems are retarded. Just go buy it and hang out at warrior forum with the other retards leave us alone.

You can try to explain to them that taking that $2,000 and putting into designing a site and sending traffic to it they would actually be successful, but they will never listen. They want someone to do it for them. They are willing to spend the $2000 just on the chance that it will work with no effort on their part.
Stupid? Yes. But then again they don't have the desire and determination that it takes to be successful as an affiliate anyways, so who can blame the gurus for taking advantage of that? They have figured out a very profitable niche and they are banking off it.
At the end of the day, you can't sell a newbie what it takes to succeed. You can sell them everything else, and they will continue to buy it. Trying to convince them otherwise is a waste of time. Let them spend the money, still not succeed, then come crawling back to you with questions and if you are their friend or care about them, you can help them out at that point.
