Guys, my back hurts.

What office chairs do you use to stay comfortable all day, Im fucken dying here.

I already have an inversion machine to un-fuck my back 5 times a day, but I can't seem to find a chair that will help me keep my posture straight.

Any suggestions? :love-smiley-086:

I and all of my people have Hermon Miller Aeron's. I let them pick out there office set up when they first come to work but everyone get's a Hermon Miller. You should spend the extra money as it is well worth it.

I think the next hire though will get my old Aeron and I will try the Hermon Miller Embody.

I've got the aeron. I love it.

I was also looking at the mirra when I bought mine, but opted for the Aeron from all the reviews I read. Just make sure you test them out, or do a lot of research to get the right size for you. Specifically with the Aeron, they have sizes A, B, C, I'm not sure about other chair makers.

Obusforme is good if you don't have the cash to drop on the Aeron and it's arguably better for your back and more comfortable with the high back and head rest.

However, you can get a used Aeron for like half the price of new. Scope Craig's and ebay.

When the .com implosion happened there were literally thousands of them on the market going for pennies on the dollar.

You don't want to fuck with your back, drop the money.

I wish we could try out some Aeron chairs, but last time I checked there were no stores around here that carried them.

The Aeron is popular, but that front piece of plastic cuts into my legs after 4+ hours. I've got a Steelcase Leap chair now. It's got a lot more adjustments and a smart flexing design that my back really enjoys. The arm rests are very adjustable. No screwing/unscrewing the back support bar to adjust is another win over the Aeron.

The chair is like $800 - $900 but it's worth it. Also you can find it on Craigslist usually for $500 or less. Check your local dealers, they occasionally have ones that come off lease.

I recently tried the Leap and didn't like the way it sat so I went back to my Aeron. I guess it's personal preference. The main thing people should take a way from all of this is how important your chair is. I would sit in an Aeron and work off of a folding table instead of a guess. The most expensive part of your initial office furniture set up should be your chair - by far.

Same experience here. I bought a Leap but returned it after 2 weeks. I bought an Embody instead.
