Man, some of you guys just sound ignorant.
If your time was worth shit you've already thrown away $65 talking about it.
Do I think it's a rip off? Probably, I dunno.
What really irks me is...
The longer it is the better it converts over at Wafo.
most of the big guns of copywriting suggest that the longer your copy is the better it sells. actually they just want you to buy their service (long sales copy) which is like 20k per piece.
And you guys are senior members in a fucking marketing forum?
I don't care if you call it "affiliate marketing" or "internet marketing" it's all direct marketing. The 'net is a new medium, direct marketing has been around for centuries...
And getting involved with this stuff without paying attention to testing and results from the past is just fucking stupid.
Ever heard of Boardroom? Or Rodell? Phillips? They all do hundreds of millions a year. And there's a reason they take the time and spend the money to send a 40 page magalog instead of a 2 page sales letter to move health supplements. Nothing happens in direct mail without testing to back it up.
I've worked on everything online from biz opps to berries, and anytime you're asking someone to lay money on the line long copy (generally) out pulls short copy.
Study some Kennedy, Halbert, Carlton, etc...
Anytime I hear a "marketer" bitching about long copy it's like listening to a stripper bitch about dancing naked. Put some fucking clothes on if you want but don't expect to be able to pay your bills if you blindly ignore what's making money in the first place.
Comments like that make WaFo sound like the intelligent forum.
