OK this is the newb of all newb questions. On Facebook you know how you select keywords that are really people's interest in their profiles. I am promoting a health offer which pays for leads but how do I know what keywords to type in for people's interest. Is it the exact same as finding keywords if I was using adwords? Just do keyword research like normal and type those in or is there a different method for Facebook? Thanks.

IMO, picking interests to target by is mostly common sense.

1) Figure out what demo you'll be targeting.
2) What are they interested in? ie: Working out, body building, etc.
3) You aren't putting in KW's, you are putting in the "interests" of the people you want to target.
4) I pretty much gave you a basic answer in #2

FB ads are all about testing. Test out different ages, locations, interests, images, and ad copy. Just a heads up, if you're a newbie, I wouldn't really recommend promoting a health offer on FB primarily because they can be a bitch to convert unless you have your targeting down. People on FB aren't really in the mood for busting out their CC and purchasing.

I would recommend trying out dating, gaming, or mobile offers @ first. That's just me though. Everyone is different, and you never know what will work for you until you try it out.
