Favorite Inspirational Business Flick

Man, what a great thread...thank you all for these great posts.

Have some great movie watching to do - looks like I gotta find a huge bottle of single malt scotch and a case of cigars for all the business. Maybe some bitches too...

Not necessarily business related but goal related I'd go for the following 3 movies:

Rudy - This is a football movie with Sam (Frodo's gay lover) from Lord of the rings. Definitely inspirational and it's based on a true story.

+1 for Gattaca and Pursuit of Happiness - both great movies that inspire.

Ok Margin Call sucked balls.
You never really know what it is specifically about and it uninspiring as hell.
Can't believe this was recommended so often.

True - you need to know what it is about before watching - but when/if you do - its a good watch.

Boiler Room.

Although more of the opposite of inspirational: My favorite is Margin Call.

Some may say that it sucked. but personally I loved it.

I loved it...and it made me more inspired to NOT pursue a career in finance even though I was a finance major.

I agree with most of these never seen Margin Call,

I am going to throw one out there

Empire loved that movie.

Here is what some are not getting. These movies show hustle in a person, individual in general. It is not about taking the bad the person displayed as much as it as taking the good. That being said I think Empire sums up the discussion about the 99% crap on the first page.

If you have not seen it give it a try.

If you like Margin Call you're gonna like Too Big To Fail.

Watching Empire now.
