Finding Zip / Email Submits that pay?

How can you tell who is doing the scrub..network or advertiser? I had a email sub campaign that was 100% roi for 4 solid months, then , wham, overnite went to shit.
Tried it a few other networks but it never did the same again. Down to around 15-20% ROI...

You are not going to be able to tell if it is the network or the advertiser. There are going to be scrubs in place on both most likely. Some advertisers use a 24 hour unique and some use a 72 hour unique. Some scrub across an entire network based on what they are making on their backend to keep a certain margin in house (atleast from what I have learned and heard).

It comes down to there ar only a few legit email/zip submit companies out there. But it all starts with your traffic. You send shit traffic and it will get scrubbed. If you are working with the advertiser direct you are more likely not going to be pulled down by other's shit traffic.

PM me with any other questions.

I agree with your assessment pretty much 100%. I think the problem in the affiliate marketing world is that affiliates don't work directly with advertisers as much as they should. I know it's easy to use a network because it can be a one stop shop. But by doing so you end up selling yourself short in some cases. Because let's face it, both networks and the advertisers are doing scrubs. So now you're subject to a double scrub. If you deal directly with the advertiser, you're going to only have to deal with one scrub, plus you can more than likely get a solid payout.

Tyler,

If your list does well with email and zip submits try to add some trial offers to the mix or some offers that are shipping only.

Express Revenue has several email submits that we do not scrub. I've been running a test poll on them for 2 weeks, and while the poll doesn't get a lot of traffic, it's getting conversions and get ROI is good. A lot of email/zip submits seem to work when they feel like it, or only work for a few days and then drop off completely. I've had these consistently working on one campaign for these 2 weeks now I'll keep you updated. If you do apply, message ExpressRev Coop on AIM and I will expedite your application.

That's fine, but I've got one poll that's sending ER traffic that is very sporadic. One day the conversion rate will be 20% ,and the next day 2%, if I knew it was a traffic quality problem , I'd fix that, but on my end there's no way to tell.
