I'm putting in work. Everything is nearly ready for us to kick off this fitness challenge. I'll give more details about it in a participant thread later this week. For now, just know that it will be ran on an external site, it will be 60 days long, and it will award multiple participants for different things.

This thread is meant for service providers to ask questions about sponsoring our community event. PM for more information. The dates for the event are Sep 17th - Oct 28.

Oh, and here's this:

Is there no way it can be longer?

Not trying to be deliberately awkward, and appreciate you stepping up to organise it which is awesome, just that 6 weeks is no time at all, usually these contests are 12-16 weeks long. The problem with short periods of time is it encourages people to crash diet and lose a ton of weight in a few weeks, and those people inevitably win the contest.

12-16 weeks? Really, bro?

I've never seen a single contest lasting more than 6 weeks, it's plenty of time to make some progress, and also it's the best amount of time you should do one workout routine before changing it.

You make a great point.

Update: The contest will run from September 17th - November 18th.

Bodybuilding.com - 911 Ultimate Transformation Challenge 2012 Sponsored By ISatori - Bodybuilding.com = 12 weeks
Bodyblitz Body Transformation Challenge = 12 weeks
Bodybuilding.com - Bodybuilding.com $100,000 Transformation Challenge - Presented By Optimum Nutrition = 12 weeks
Body-for-LIFE Challenge .... 12 weeks

This is just on the front page of Google searching "body transformation contest", those are the top 4 results.

You get the odd 8 week one, but IMO 12-16 weeks is much better, it encourages long term change and people can do some really impressive stuff in that period of time.

How about 12 weeks? Or just make it until January 1

Is this just for weight loss? or skinny to mass as well?

I can't be the only scrawny fuck...
When we talked about it before, a lot of us were in favor of "body transformation." So, yes from my understanding that would include that.

Body transformation as a whole. I'll be posting a thread specifically detailing the challenge for participants. This is meant for the sponsors who'd like to show some support and get a little exposure.

Awww hell. I'll throw in a x2 BROADLink package to the winner.
