does A4D notify you guys when they pull offers? I don;t get anything from them- only saw it on this forum, and checked A4D and saw an offer I was running is now gone- not very nice of them not to email when offers are going dark...

no notification.

sending clicks for hours to nowhere is bad. not getting paid for accumulated leads would be much worse.

no need to worry about that, right?

omg if that stuff is true i'm sorry but a line has definately been crossed. threatening legal action if a customer cancels their rebill. i mean come on, thats just nasty shit. i'm glad i'm not involved in this field some heads are definately gonna roll here. looks like most of the grant companies have got it covered though, being setup in the phillipines etc. are you?

i still see grants on the new a4d tracker.

Looks like some grants are back up with new Obama-free graphics.

I found that the offers WITHOUT Obama and WITHOUT reference to a stimulus converted WAY better for me than the Obama offers.

I had non-obama offers converting at $5.75-6.25 EPC on 400+ sales a day while Obama offers split tested at $3-4.35 EPC on same number of sales. That's several thousands of dollars a day in profit difference.

Sometimes people aren't as dumb as they might seem. In fact, I have received dozens of emails from people wanting to know how to WRITE a grant proposal and ZERO emails about how they can get Obama to hand them a check.

Sometimes the obvious isn't so obvious.

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN FIGHT BACK:

1. Call Eileen Harrington at 617 425 8193 or e-mail her at eharrington@analysisgroup.com.

2. If you have a prominent grant LP, point her in its general direction and go into detail how you've been scammed out of thousands of dollars, etc. Maybe claim you have setup an online petition regarding this specific blog that hundreds of other consumers have signed. Make it seem like it's a BIG deal. (The goal is to get it featured on the FTC show).

3. Redirect your shit to makemoniesonline.com at approximately 11 am ET March 4, 2009

I got an email through A4D on that from and advertiser. I've never run Obama ads, though. This was one of those "just a matter of time" things. Those ads were everywhere!

BEST IDEA EVAR!

$100 to anyone who dickrolls the FTC at their press conference.

I am glad to see this happening. A few sites i came across where so bad I almost wanted to find and report them to the authorities.

One guy claimed to be a government branch and took like a full page of details on income, gender, race etc to see if you could qualify for a grant. I assume from there he just emailed them saying they were accepted. It said the $3 was needed as a government processing fee. Shit made me sick.

Stuff like this reflects badly on our whole industry id rather not have my business be branded as scamming people.

ads4dough pulling all grant offers in the next 30minutes (for now)

edit 4.55am

Well, here's Eileen Harrington at Affiliate Marketing about "word of mouth"/testimonial advertising (fake blogs?) and affiliate marketing - Specifically about disclosure. YouTube - Word of Mouth Marketing

I wonder if that will come into play in this case, too.
