Fuck you all

WF has changed from where it had been several years ago, but it's not really that much worse. Nowadays most of the people that know what they are talking about and actually make money talk privately with other WF members. I have a good 10-15 members here that I speak to privately, instead of posting things publicly on WF were it would be exploited by newbies.

At the moment, I see WF as a place I can come and just relax. Read some funny threads, laugh at the idiots, and then go to sleep.
 


im newb as fuck and wouldnt mind having to "earn" my way in to being able to access the "real" info, but to just cut off newbs all together seems very short sighted imo. of course, i am biased. i think an invite only section would be a good idea if it means that valuable, relevant info will be posted in a place where there is a possibility of accessing it rather than said info not being posted at all. if i banked like some of you fuckers do i wouldnt be throwing out all of my hard earned knowledge out in teh open for a bunch of d-bags with no credibilty to take advantage of and prob not really appreciate. that said, if recognized serious hunger, hustle, and respect...id be more than willing to lower the ladder for someone.

People are no more likely to throw their livelihood under the bus in an elite members only forum than they are out in the open as it stands now. Smart people don't create more competition for themselves, unless they stand to make money from it (see sig, hi Soupy!, et al). The real problem as I see it is when I log into WF, there will be like 200 people viewing STS, 10 in A/M, 5 in T/C, couple in D/D, maybe 1 mailer. Viewing STS has never made me a dollar. Taking info from the other forums and putting it into action has given me a great life.

In other words, get to fucking work, you lazy bitches! (I need to leechblock this subform again myself)
 
Don't worry guys, rage9 is just trolling you. Either that, or he's yawning for the yester-years, the "good old times" and BAH BAH BAH BAH. This is the new gen WFers, and I like them.

1) People don't share the most valuable information (SEO tips/tricks etc) because there's always some dickhead here who will exploit it to the 100th degree and ruin it for everyone. Either that or some foreigner will turn it into an ebook and sell the method.

2) I am constantly going thru the T&C section and reporting useless/noob threads, and rarely do I ever see anything I report cleaned up/someone banned. Someone needs to monitor that section, and nuke any new post that contains questions/info that can be found in the forum archives using search.

Look at dickarmy's latest thread he posted in his post history and then all the idiots that replied to him the way they did and insulted him. That was the last time he ever posted here. RIP.
 
On one hand I kind of agree with Rage, but on the other hand my mind tells me you can't really change the way things naturally flow, especially on a "STS" forum. All that you can do is to keep doing what you do, and ignore the posts that you don't like. Or just break down and fucking adapt to it. That doesn't mean to make yourself apparently "dumber," but perhaps it could be a challenge to find a way to talk to certain people? IDK lol.

Here's my go at it..

Somethings that can be done:

1. Can't start a thread unless you have 20 posts. ---This would put a lock on the trolls and tards, and i wouldn't have to waste my 5 second clicks on these ***s.

2. Rep and Neg System? - Filter out the trash with this system, and the guys that do answer seriously and do help out the rare worthy will be rewarded, and too many sarcastic answers(hypocrite) you'll be negged, and maybe lose your posting rights/reputation, but it does have its drawbacks.

3.Private Invitation Forum- I like the ideal, but i guess we have to realize it sooner or later, that this is more of an "entertainment forum" than anything at this point. It's an information business, and information should be kept to yourself. With the only exception of having small trusting circle group, which could work(look at #5)

4. Ultra Mega Awesome Sticky +Sections ? - might not change much, because things change quickly, but this and some new sections might help.

5. Make a new Private Section were it's seperated by State, and we can then setup mastermind groups this way, and get more "real" information. (there might even be a way for you guys to make $$ on this)

I would really like a WF with more "affiliate information", then just a place to kick it, or slack off time from time.

Just my 2 cents, let me know what you guys think.
 
Wickedfire is loosing ti's reputation in the form of Internet Marketing forum and becoming more general forum like DP .
 
It's funny, someone mentioned Dickarmy... he's a new guy :P

So here's the thing, anytime a forum grows to a certain size there's a lot of issues with posting great public information in step by steps like what used to get done on here a lot. You'll find if you really know what your doing and you post something good on here it'll get whored out in no time.

So what is this forum great for?

It's about meeting new people, networking with friends and getting answers to detailed questions. Anyone that that ask a real question with some good information they've put into something and got stuck I think gets very real answers and responses here.

For a lot of us that work the business full time and enjoy the water cooler BS'ing from a normal job. Wickedfire is the equivalent of the water cooler.

This forum has always been filled with all kinds of BS, that's how we like it. :) Look at the first posts ever in WF it was all about post whore contests and talking shit about things. Nothing has changed.

It's funny as time goes on a few good posters show up for a while. Then they get busy, tired, burnt out. More will come along, they always do.
