i had some shit no one seems to remember when I bring it up:

1. Atari Lynx ( handheld way before Gameboy and was in color )

2. NeoGeo

I had all the other systems too.. loved gaming. Got started on a Commodore 64 and Atari, then moved into Nintendo, Sega, and the old shoebox Mac ( was playing SimCity back then ).

Those days were awesome.

One of my favourite Gameboy games was Link's Awakening

I know, right?! A freaking GOLD cartridge!?!? Just added to the epicness of the game.

Exactly. Side note about Zelda, my friend Jimmy got it first back in the day but his mom didn't approve of the game. They were Mormon and she thought all of the stuff in the game was the work of the devil, so she made him throw it in the trash.

That's when me and another friend swooped in and did some trash digging. Found the cartridge and enjoyed playing Zelda for about 72 hours straight. We let Jimmy come play too, after we had mastered most of the game.
