Going bald - what do?

Taking a drug and becoming an impotent eunuk because society doesn't like bald people seems like the ultimate defeat. Americans and your crazy standards for men. Everyone has to be a muscle roided freak, fist pumping with perfect white teeth and a full head of hair.

At the same time your women are getter fatter and uglier by the day. Beta to the max.

Bro, do you even generalize?

Thats just good marketing setup.
Raise the standards, make people feel like shit, sell products that dont work over and over.

Not meant as a pun on you, but American men does "generally" seem to have different standards for what they think they need to look like. Particularly the roid muscle movement, tanning and fist pumping. Just don't see that much of that in Europe or elsewhere.

What I'm saying is that I think it is wrong for men to destroy their ability to have children to live up to some ridicilous standards that they think they need to actually be able to score.

Roids and finasteride limit your ability to procreate even if both are taken to increase chances of procreatin. That IS ironic.

for many women an athletic/muscular bald man with a tan is hotter than anything else... just saying.

It doesn't have to be a con, turn it round..

You basically have 2 choices -

1. Cut it short or shave it bald

2. Be like Elon Musk and spend some big $$ on a good hair graft procedure from a company like Bosley. However, you will be left with a large permanent scar.

You mean like post #8 in the thread that you obviously didn't take the time to even look at before commenting?

I get what you are saying, but this "roid muscle movement" probably makes up .01% of all American men. The only place you will see guys like this are at the gym or at a body building competition. Otherwise, the majority of us are just regular dudes.

Also, fenasteride had very little known side effects until recent studies showed otherwise. If I would've known it would've had said effect, I surely wouldn't have taken it.

Start with Niz, Minox, and Fin or buzz it down and wait...

I would bet a legit 'cure' is less than 10-15 years away.

I think a bunch of celebs go here:

Hair Transplants | Follicular Unit Extraction Hair Transplants (FUE)| Alvi Armani

My hair has been thinning, shedding like crazy this past year and I'm in my late 20's. I'm probably just going to pay the money and go to this place in Beverly Hills when it gets really bad, think I worked it out to be around $70k for the treatment. Of course, I'll try and pull off the shaved look first and see how well that works for me, but I'm definitely not touching Rogaine, or Finasteride. Any medication you take has side effects, and they don't seem to know enough about them yet (people will say Rogaine is safe because it's over the counter, but I think I read University Studies showing a couple of people developing heart problems from it).

Unfortunately, there are no cures right now. I used Rogaine for over 2 years with no results. I'm afraid to try Propecia; my loss is probably too severe anyways and the potential side effects aren't worth it, imo.

I'm now waiting for hair cloning to come out. Hair transplants right now are rudimentary because they rely on your existing hair supply.

What's the point of transferring hair from the back of your head to the front of your head? If you bald even more, you will just need another hair transplant. And if you bald severely, you will have a big strip scar for the world to see.

No thank you. I'll stay with buzzing my hair down to 1 guard for now.

You wont end up with a strip scar if you have FUE treatment, they can move individual follicles, leaving a tiny pin point scar, sometimes.

You can in theory donate from your back hair, arm pits etc... with varying success.

My hair thinned out on the front of my head to the point it just looked retarded. For a few years I fought with it brushing hair forward and shit to cover it but I always felt I looked like crap.

Last year after 3 unsuccessful hair cuts at fancy salons to "fix" it I gave up and shaved my head. Its weird at first but a huge confidence boost once that shit is gone. Suddenly I never hair to worry about how my hair looks or it thinning out more since I fired its ass.
