Perennial Obama critic and conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh was quick to respond to the accusations, arguing today on his radio show that it was in fact the Democrats who were using Nazi symbolism to advance their agenda. He cited a post on the conservative blog Sweetness & Light that compares Obama's new healthcare logo -- a combination of his campaign logo and the ancient Greek symbol of medicine -- to the Nazi swastika symbol.

Course I guess if you base our healthcare on Glen Beck's most recent impression of it, might as well be a form of holocaust.

Well to be fair, if you look at the 14 points of facism, Bush policies fit much closer to the definition:

1-Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism
2-Disdain for the importance of human rights
3-Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause
4-The supremacy of the military/avid militarism
5-Rampant sexism
6-A controlled mass media
7-Obsession with national security
8-Religion and ruling elite tied together
9-Power of corporations protected
10-Power of labor suppressed or eliminated
11-Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts
12-Obsession with crime and punishment
13-Rampant cronyism and corruption
14-Fraudulent Elections

I mean the only part that might be attributed to the democrats, is controlled mass media....although I'm not that sure about that, considering Fox is rated #1 news channel, Limbaugh/Hannity control the airways, and Wall Street Journal is like the only newspaper that hasn't failed
 
If you think that's a worry check out google earth birds eye view of army & airforce bases across the USA, I'll say no morez.

People are slowly starting to realize that they are being manipulated and lied to. Neither has their best interests at heart. They are only concerned w/ growing their power, whatever the agenda might be. Thomas Jefferson is rolling in his grave right now.

How can you all be so blind? The day is coming soon when America will need to revolt against the powers they've elected to have their best interests at heart. Unbridled power is toxic and won't be sacrificed easily. Revolution is coming. Mark my words. Possibly not through an act of war, but by the hearts and souls of men engaging in the process, who were formerly complacent.

It's easy when most of the nation is sheeples. For example you take a guy walking up to a cashier at McDonalds, normally they tell you the meal number they want. But if you instead ask most people everything they wanted on their big mac their brain would just shut down...

While people don't want choices, they want them to be easy choices like A or B. Kinda like how we have straight ticket ballots.

You're right in a sense, the politicians didn't destroy this country. The people who let the politicians destroy this country, destroyed this country. I have zero faith in the majority to make sound political decisions.

I'm moving, as soon as I can. Rebills will fund my exodus.

oh really. let's compare, in obama's first year:

1 - Claiming opponents to his bills are unpatriotic, voted for the USA PATRIOT Act
2 - Kept GITMO open
3 - Villification of Republicans and making them all out to be dumb hicks
4 - The supremacy of groups like ACORN
5 - No example, but name some with Bush.
6 - lol. NBC/MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN are so far in his back pocket. the only ones who aren't are Fox
7 - Claiming all legislation he does is "emergency" and if not passed the country will fail (Stimulus bill)
8 - None yet
9 - Please. Geithner and Goldman Sachs? The pharmaceutical companies and the healthcare bill?
10 - Wanting to give labor organizations TOO much power, including elimination of a fundamental right to worker privacy by eliminating the secret ballot for unions, allowing for employees to be intimidated.
11 - How did Bush show disdain or suppress the arts? By my count, Bush only began vetoing bills in 2006 and beyond, and several spending bills included the arts that he signed onto.
12 - GITMO, going after Swiss bank accounts and potentially imprisoning their owners, etc
13 - Rahm Emanuel. Tim Geithner. Robert Gibbs. Enough said.
14 - NBPP intimidating voters in specific districts with weapons outside of polling places.


Now, what were you saying? And Bush had a full 8 years to rack his shit list up.
