Good Places to Live/Travel for 1-2 Months?

I've been thinking about moving somewhere for a month or two in the summer (or maybe next Winter) - anyone have suggestions? Seent people talking about going to Vietnam, Thailand, etc.

Any other good places or anywhere you could sell me on going? Mostly looking to just chill, be somewhat active (hiking/walking) and relax in mild/warm climate.

Malta, Spain, Hong Kong, Costa Rica. Thailand has too many murders disguised as "suicides" for my liking.

+1 for Malta, if it's only for a couple months.

Well, don't get into debt with the mafia, don't hang around in red light districts with hookers and drug dealers, and don't marry a rice farming peasant, and you'll be fine. Thailand is actually very safe.

Hmmm .. Malta is very small and could get claustrophobic very quickly. It has the advantage of being English speaking though. You're better off going to Italy - from Italy you can reach a number of different countries within a couple of hours by plane.

Mostly if you follow those rules but even then you can be attacked and killed and all your shit stolen. They make it look like suicide so the cops won't follow up on it. NSFW http://www.bestgore.com/tag/thailand/

Do you think if someone wanted to look up how dangerous America is, they could find a blog or 2? I think being aware of your surroundings is a pretty universal safety tactic, no need to label a place not safe because of a few mishaps.

If you go to Thailand, probably a good idea not to rent jet skis.

Thailand is much safer than Detroit. But no investigations are ever carried out on those fake suicide murders and they are covered up by the cops to protect tourism and I don't want to live somewhere like that. If you find it safe, good.

OP take that bitcoin money to brazil and report back to this thread with pics.

I've been living in Malta on and off since March. You'll enjoy a couple of months here for sure.

I loved this comment on Youtube -

beat the fuck out of them???? yeah, that's a great advise. in a second you have 10 monkeys with machetes jumping on you. if you don't want to get scammed, DO NOT GO FOR ALL THE SIDE DEALS. take the hotel official overpriced deal, and enjoy. you get scammed quietly with out stress.
