I liked Bridge over River Kwai and The Great Escape. Tomorrow when the War Began was cool. It has some hot aussie chicks doing what need to be done..but its basically an Australian "Red Dawn."

The Grey Zone is good if you can get past Harvey Keitel's ridiculous German accent. It's more of a Holocaust movie, though.

Also, Das Boot.

Also, not a movie, but the Band of Brothers series was amazing. I've watched it several times.

I also liked Enemy at the Gates. More silly accent business (Russians have British accents and Germans have American accents) but other than that I liked it a lot. Then again I like anything concerning the battle of Stalingrad.

Dood you have to watch 'Stalingrad' if you haven't seen it. The german movie from 1993 (same guys as Das Boot), not the popular documentary. Best Stalingrad movie I have seen.

Not as flashy as Enemy at the Gates, but way darker and more fucked up.

Band of Brothers - 5 Star Series IMO
Thin Red line - Very similar in its style to Shaving Ryans Privates
Enemy at the Gates - Good story and great Sniper cam action.
Inglourious Basterds - Christoph Waltz Character makes it.
