Gotta wonder what the majority of peoples reactions would have been if he would have came out from the get go and just said that he was a million dollars in debt. I suppose the lavish demeanor of his online presence would have probably overshadowed that.

Ryan personally is a decent guy. I know he at least "tried" to fix the sinking ship (with money and time), and why I defended him in the past. Anyone that denies the fact he had a unique persona and made a successful (at the time) company is full of crap.

However he made some mistakes along the way and we've come to EWA owing people lots of money. So now it is what it is and it's time for ewa to die.

As much as I hate pace - this was a decent article:

If he had come clean, declared backruptcy, offered to pay everyone 40% of what they were owed (or whatever % could be paid out), and moved on, everything probably would've ended up ok, or at least much better than it is right now.

But that would've required Ryan to abandon or give up his baller image and his online persona of being an extremely rich and successful business person who couldn't fail. And when that's become such a core part of who you are and what others perceive you as... it's hard to just let that go.

Either way, I'm sure the next time Ryan Eagle does something (in affiliate marketing or otherwise) it'll be done better and with a little more humility and restraint. His past actions were that of an arrogant young kid who thought he couldn't fail.

I'd say now is about time to call it.

Ryan I know you already have an idea how the posts/letter/email is going to go, but just make sure you word and craft it carefully. This will probably be the most important thing you have had to publicly write and will be attached to you going forward with everything else you do. Some people are privy to additional information about things so make sure whatever is posted is not able to be 'countered' by inside info from anyone, which I'm sure you are well aware of anyway.

I have always been in your corner with stuff online even though we don't talk much anymore so still hopping you get out of this alright.

I wouldn't feel so bad for him. He's actively trying to get Affiliates to send him more traffic even though he has no intention of paying them.

He's resorted to scamming to squeeze a few extra dollars before closing shop (If he ever does).

- Placeholder until I find a .gif with the appropriate level of awesome. -

Edit: Still looking for a .gif hope this youtube clip will tide you fellows over.

I've held out saying he should call it a run due to the very small chance he could turn it around but I don't think its possible anymore and I am pretty sure he knows that now too.

Yes leading affiliates on (That you can argue are the most vulnerable) at the end is a pretty bad thing to do. At least if he says that he has just recently learned that the last chance investor dropped out he can say he had held out hope until the very end.

The FB group is still full of newbies referred by Adrian Morrison begging for accounts. It is funny how happy some of them are after their account is approved.
