How anal should I be about accepting job results?

I ordered a small link-building job.

Normally, I don't care much about how many links actually stick as long as it looks like a valid attempt was made.

But in this case, the guy guaranteed that 90% of links would remain or he would continue adding new links to compensate.

It's been 5 days since the job was completed and about 36% of links are missing/deleted/moderated, etc.

Should I start bugging him about it and insist he fulfills his guarantee?

As I said, normally I wouldn't give a crap. Besides, it really is a small job.

But he was so vocal about his 90% guarantee, that I just want to make it a point to get at least 90% of the links to stick and not get deleted.

What do you all think? Should I demand customer satisfaction? :)

I would send off a quick email and let him know that 36% of the links are gone. See his response.

It's not worth going any further than that.

I did when it was 29% (2 days after the end of the job), but he said to wait a bit for more links to get approved.
Now it's down to 36%. So it doesn't look like it's going to go up.

So the next e-mail from me would be with a request for new links. Not about anything else.

It's not worth going any further than that.

In the monetary sense, it wasn't even worth making this post.
The practical benefit of pushing it is of no interest at this point.

I'm just pondering whether a vendor should be made to fulfill the guarantee or not, regardless of what's at stake.

Did you order from WickedFire forums? If so, post in his thread your results. If he is interested in his reputation here, he should fix the problem.

Yep. Ordered on the forum. But I don't want to post anything, definitely not until I contact him in private, and definitely not until I see his reaction to my request.

You mean it's up to 36% from 29%?

I would wait at least a week after any blog commenting job, this will give you an accurate representation of how many links you got.

"No match" is up. In other words, the number of links that don't "check out/exist" increased.
