I don't know where you live, but in my state (Missouri) I see Obama signs in almost every yard of my neighborhood. Of course there are McCain signs as well, but the Obama signs outnumber McCain by about 5 to 1.

So like xmcp123 said... yeah, he'll win by getting more votes.

Someone has to have a voice of reason in all this "suck obama's dick" mentallity. I can't stand John Mccain as well but at least people are not falling all over him getting chills up their legs, soiling their trousers and crap.

Liberals want to always point fingers at everyone that doesn't think like them and say "GO AWAY SHEEP". I have never in my life seen so many sheep following after this corrupt freshman senator with their noses up his ass.

Hell the media are pissing themselves to lavish praise on him. Yet no one really knows who this obama fool is. Why does he have so many ties to domestic terrorist, black panthers, bigots, slum lords. I wish you guys (and us too) had a fairer system, and more votes actually meant they won.

I'm not sure how congressional and senate elections work (differs from state to state?) but the US presidential election, with the electoral college etc is far from out first past the post shit - both systems developed when information spread by horses and trains rather then satellites and fibre optic cables - your system, like ours, will never produce a truly representative result, but it seems like it benefits those in charge to maintain the status quo.

Because he is as corrupt as the rest of them. However, while he won't really change anything he might save a few thousand stupid kids from being sent to invade places that don't want them and he might spend a bit more money on helping the people that need it rather than the rich few.

I actually want to address the second part of your message here.
First, I know MANY white adults voting obama. Ever think it's your area? Obama even has pretty solid support in Oakland County, Michigan. And for reference, Oakland County is the fourth wealthiest county in the US. Historically it's been pretty republican too.
Second, fuck you for talking down to "kids". I'm definitely in the younger part of those who are legally able to vote, so I'm going to take this one personally. Give me a solid reason I should be written off like that. I've followed politics for years, supported candidates of different political parties, and know the issues. I contribute to the economy more than most individuals in the US by a long shot.
It's not our generation that fucked this up, it's yours.

I live 1 state south of you and it's like 2:1 in favor of Obama. Of course, we're the democratic state that still sucks our local celebrity Clinton's dick like Lewinski in her prime.

Speaking of FANNIE/FREDDIE, did you hear, in the town hall meeting, McCain's plan of refinancing all mortgages for people that are going under at the current housing price. Sounds better than letting the foreclosure's rack up.

That's the 2nd plan of his that really stands out as a good idea. $5000 tax credit for health insurance is the other one. Like most of you guys, I don't get "company" insurance being self employeed. That's money in the bank for my family.

I'm not quite sure how I feel on that plan yet. When I first heard about it I thought it was a fucking awesome idea, but after finding out that it will be paid for by taxing employer supplied insurance puts a wrench in it. I would like to find out how many people will actually be unable to afford the taxes on their company insurance and end up taking the 5k instead. What happens if everyone takes the 5k, wheres the funding going to come from for that? Still think it might be a good idea if ironed out a little more.

I didn't say the whole state, I just said my neighborhood. I go for a 2-3 mile walk every night and that's what I see around here. I'm sure you can find other neighborhoods in my city that has more McCain signs.

My point was there are plenty of people that are going to vote for Obama. Popeye said the only people he knows who is voting Obama is:

I'm just saying he needs to get out more. My neighborhood is full of middle-class old white people.
