I have over 1,000; and registered much more; but the majority I let expire.

But domains have no correlation with how much money you make.

haha...I'm sure you guys are doing really well...but to the average joe a 60k salary is considered pretty good... nothing great, but I would say its good

i only have around 20 - 30 and i find it hard to handle that never mind 100's like some of you guys. How to you handle that kind of numbers. I would love one of the guys with numbers over 80 to explain how the keep up with them all

when my focus was search and email marketing working on my own i would buy a few domains a week. So i own about 500, from that of that i have 20 sites live. When i started Motive i bought a few more for micro sites maybe another 100, 10 of which are now active sites, most came and went. In my role now as CEO of Motive i don't have a need to buy domains however as a independent doing email or search marketing i would suggest staying on top of good domains and buying good ones when possible.
