About 80 or so. I buy them faster than I can develop them, but isn't that true for most people?

SInce you get free private whois on godaddy when you reg 5 domains, I end up buying 4 .info's for every .com I buy. SO I have a shitload of shitty domain right now

namecheap ftw

free private whois with every domain registration.

namecheap price = .com $9.69/yr is kind of expensive;no?
Do you have some kind of coupon?

godad has 1.99 new year special today

This past week godaddy has been offering free private registration as well with 5 or more domains.

I only have about 10 domains. I'm looking to build these domains first and move on to others domains that I will own.

I have around 400 generic .com domain names with type in traffic. People should not ignore this relatively cheap source of traffic.

I have 22 domains, just over half of which are developed. I now spend an hour or two putting together a small site before i buy a domain. This way it doesn't just add to the ones sitting there, and I can point a few links to it

Suppose someone buys the domain while your making that website ? :food-smiley-010:

I hope you guys realize that domains are actually one of the few things that only one people can own at the time. Almost every other product can be copied by your competitors but domains are unique.

The poll is funny. Increments of 5-10 up to 50? It should have topped out at least at 1000+ or more.

I own lots, but the number is irrelevant. As others have pointed out, you can earn more money with a single domain than someone with 10,000. The number of domains you own has no bearing whatsoever on your success.

Here's my 2 cents. Investing in domains is a very sound investment if done right. Choose good names that someone would actually want. Make sure the keyword in the domain actually gets a lot of traffic. Be careful about having domains with trademarks in the name and do something like make a promise to yourself for every 2 domains I buy I'll build one. A domain that just sits there has far less value than a domain with even a 1 page site on it. Just think all you need to do is recoup more than 9 dollars a year for it to be a worthwhile investment. I have some domain that I haven't done shit with that make like 10 bucks a month. That's a terrific return on a 9 dollar a year domain.

1, and it only has one page. and that one page sucks. Man.... I am such a loser!
