The people on WickedFire don't exactly strike me as frugal or thrifty. So I'm curious, how much are you guys paying every month in bills (not counting business expenses)?

This is more out of curiosity than anything... most people spend more as they make more, but are there any other cheap bastards on this forum besides me?

I spend under $500 on everything... rent, utilities, phone, etc... And no, I don't live in some third world country, I live in Springfield, MO.

I spend jack shit.
Rent - $500/mo (college town)
Beer- $20 once a week
Cigarettes- Way too much
Food- Way too much.
Random shit I want - $20/day(at most)
</expenditures> (I know I'm missing some shit)
I don't like having too many things around me, I don't care about clothes, I don't like extravagance. So I don't have to spend much. Most of my money gets invested in growth.

This industry is too unstable(at least at the stage I'm at, with the amount I have in the bank) to be reckless for now.

$3070 per month. This is the bare essential. That does not include debts I have to pay off, clothes, entertainment etc...its just to pay like you say the house hold bills (my rent costs $1750 itself).

you guys are really going to hate me...

rent- $130/mo (i have a roommate in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment but this is kinda expensive for Costa Rica)

utilities- $20/mo (water and electric)
transportation - $100 public transportation
food- too much
movie rentals - $20/mo (5 a week)
beer - $30 a month
misc. - $100
cigarettes- $35/mo (pack a day)

I live in Costa Rica so the cost of living is very low...you can live very comfortably on any salary over $800/ month...So I'm doing good :)

In the country here there are still people that survive with families on $300 a month, not sure how they do it but they manage

The cost of living here is a joke. You guys living expenses are so low. I need to fucking emigrate. The only thing holding me back is family.

Rent + Utils - $400. Living in my friend's townhouse.
Car payment - $175
Insurance - $175
Food - $150 I cook a lot
Gas - $200
Misc - Don't really keep track.

My full time job supports my normal living expenses. My affiliate earnings are in a separate banking account and the $ recycles.

You didn't say where you live.. UK by any chance?

My rent in london is $1700 per month.. and that's for a small 1 bedroom in a very average part of the city..

I was just trying to figure this out because I'm looking at getting a new car and wanted to see how much bills I would be paying each month with it.

As of now my phone, gas, food, 1 loan for a quad I purchased, and another loan brings me to about $1,000 a month. This year I'm looking to move into my own place and get a new car so without any changes my monthlies would go up to about $2,000.

And I'm only 19. No family to take care of or anything. Its crazy how much basic living expenses are.

Yes...UK...in London....fucking joke init...its a bitch! I actually live in Croydon, in a 2 bedroom. Moving to west london and the rent will increase to around $1900+

oh my god, i cant imagine paying that much in rent...i live in a very nice two bedroom apartment, one bath, extra room for laundry, huge kitchen and living room, security. and the total rent is $260 a month. the only bitch about renting in costa rica is nothing comes with a stove or fridge unless it is described as "furnishe." that took some getting used to.also you always have problems trying to find parking but since i dont have a car i guess thats ok. and utilities are about $20 a month so thats nice...

and i only pay about $28-$50 a month at most for a cellphone...and i talk a lot lol

ditto. I'm afraid one day my possessions will own me...so i tend to lead a simplistic life...which is groovy with me.

For those of you spending a ton on your phone, try using Grand Central and Gizmo5 together (if you have a fast Internet connection)... I use them together and get free incoming calls and free long distance calls.

My total talk time in a month? About 3,000 minutes...

My phone bill? $0.00

$2500 Rent + Utilities
$300 - $500 Cell phone
$400 Food
$100 Internet + Phone
$80 Health Insurance
$50 Home Insurance

Yay

rent - $575
utilities - about $100-200
food - $250
dog food - $40
phone - $40
gas - $50
car insurance - $35
internet - $50
random crap - about $100

probably a few other things I forgot about...

Although I don't have my own apartment anymore it was along the lines of:
Rent:$330 single bedroom
Cable/Internet: $100
Cell Phone: $50
Utilities: $20 (winter) - $40 (summer)
Car Insurance: $55/mo
Food: Roughtly $150-$200 (I like to cook)
Booze: ??? I drink way too much I'd guess in the neighbor hood of at least $120-$250
Cigs: Way too much.
