How Would You Improve This Email Marketing Campaign?

I've been running this email marketing campaign, but so far it hasn't resulted in any leads contacting us, either through our phone number or the contact form on our website.

Any advice you can give on how to improve the funnel would be appreciated.

Email stats:

Analytics:

I realize that the open rate is low, the email bounce rate is high, and the website bounce rate is high.

The email link goes to the homepage, which is structured in a short sales letter form to give them a soft landing. The goal is to get them to call the 800 number or email through our contact form to get more information.

I can see in Analytics that some people do browse for a while, some for as long as 9 minutes or so. So where do you think we am going wrong? Also, there seems to be some leakage somewhere. If 40 people clicked over to the site, how are there only 29 users? How is that even possible in a straight A-B path?

Thanks.

Where is the email and the landing page?

All I see is the stats. Am I going blind? O_O

I can PM the site to those who are interested in giving some feedback. I'd rather not just post it for the world to see, as it's not mine, but somebody else's that i'm working on.

PM sent, r3p1v.

The main page is kind of boring and when I first landed there I was like "meh, tl;dr"

You should probably add a widget to the main page that looks like a button or something with the phone number and a button to the contact page.

The menu kind of blends in and is small. Try making it bigger and brighter.

Try adding some bold and maybe also italics and highlighted text to the main page content to make it less boring.

The contact page is poorly designed. Try having both the phone number and the form above the scroll. Try having less fields in the contact form, only info you absolutely need.

It could be any number of other reasons why it's not working though. Like if your email list is old or not targeted.

Anyway, good luck

Does the email do anything to build trust or establish the sender as an authority? Just having a straight hard sell saying "call us today" may not be as effective as building credibility through something like social validation (over 2000 happy customers) or quotes like "the FDA says that 80% of people that took a magic berry lost 20lbs."

I'd change the 2nd paragraph in the mail.

Hmm.. also choose another picture on the landing page.
I think instead of focusing on the content of the email or lander you should be working on the headline, the content can be amazing but if no one's opening it, who cares?

Yes, we are working on this. I had a subject line with a 9-10% open rate, my client decided to try to beat that with his own.

The sales copy I wrote in the email is getting anywhere from 20-40% click-through rate, which is good.

It's more when they reach the site that we are not converting. We are going to look at r3p1v's suggestions and how those can be implemented.

If anyone else thinks they can contribute some ideas, PM me and I'll send you the link.

I still don't know how/where we're losing leads from the email to the landing page. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to let me know.

where are you getting your list from, nearly half your sends are bouncing, is that normal? i dont know

My client purchased a list. When he inquired about the high bounce rate, they claimed it could be caused by characters like "!" or capitalizations in it, which is baloney in my opinion.

I think it's much less targeted than they were letting on initially. But we can still attempt to convert those that get through.

It is your list

Maybe they bounce before the cookie loaded, don't have javascript enabled, etc... Analytics isn't 100% accurate.

51% bounce rate is fine but you don't have enough data really to know anything. This is just 1 day and 40 clicks, come back in 30 days. How big is the list? Keep blasting
