Building trust doesn't need to take any more effort than blasting offers out but can make your potential profit soar.
We've all opted into lists, whether IM related or not, and we've all opted out or become in the habit of deleting the e-mails no matter how good they are. It's human nature - we get bored.
So building trust needs to be quick if you want to really get those sales flowing.
The first thing you should do is send an e-mail like, "
Just Wanted To Get Back In Touch". Say hey and say you've been busy raising a few new animals and learning lots of cool, and shocking tips and tricks.
Send out another e-mail saying a few days later, "
I Want To Give You Something..." and say, to an extent the following.
"
Hey [firstname],
Did you know 77% of animals face a potentially huge risk right now?
I've just started to read this great report all about [huge risk/problem/cool trick]. It's an eyeopener to say the very least.
...Now I'm not all the way done the report. But I decided to make a quick video sharing with you this terrifying, earth shattering [risk/problem/cool trick] that your pet probably is facing right now.
Check it out now.
Talk soon,
[name]"
Now this could be a written report, but preferably should be a video. Whether just voice and a power point presentation or you on camera it doesn't matter.
Know your shit and actually give something of value. Sounds like your list can smell shit if it's given to them.
A few days later e-mail them again and say, "
I'm Completely Blown Away!" with the following theme of an e-mail:
"Hey [firstname],
A few days ago I mailed you because I was shocked about [whatever you talked about in your video]. If you remember I was reading through a special, limited copy report that only a few people got their hands on.
I didn't want to say the name because I know everyone would want a copy - but there was just none to be had.
The product creator, [name here], just released another few hundred copies that are sure to fly off the virtual self in no time!
What I shared a few days ago was only the tip of the iceberg. The shocking, hard hitting facts are astonishing and the answer to all the problems your pet is bound to face are answered fully.
(There's even a forum where you can chat with other loving pet owners - my username is daisy22.
Pick up a copy now...

You can basically rinse and re-peat that, or now that you have some form of a bond just pimp other stuff.
Most e-book, e-courses in this niche aren't the usual Clickbank shit. They do convert decent and I would recommend trying this style with those offers...but of course this could work for any CPA offers in this vertical.
Remember that most people don't read a full sales page. They just skim it. Make your consumer crave what you are offering so badly that they don't bother even reading the body of the sales letter. Make their eyes go from the headline to buy button.
Good luck.
