I should or should not have a website/blog/etc? I dont know the terminology exactly yet, but I think Im doing what is called 'affiliate' marketing, where I go into clickbank and choose an offer to advertise and get some money for every person to click on the ad and buy things. I havent actually started yet because I dont know where Im supposed to put the ads, I heard somebody say you dont need a website to advertise them but I see no other way, I dont want a website either, what are some other ways to advertise your affiliate links? I guess list them in order of profitability, and include having a website on that profitability scale too if you dont mind...
Firstly, hitting up ClickBank and promoting them will be your first (and probably final) mistake.
Heres a question: would you buy from one of those sales pages? Look at the product and, if you can HONESTLY say you would buy it, promote it.
However, in CB's case, most of the products are a joke.
Before you even THINK about spending money on a website, advertising, whatever... lay down a plan of action.
1) WHAT am I going to accomplish.
2) HOW am I going to do it?
3) WHEN do I want it done by?
4) HOW will I make it work?
So, mine looked kinda like this
1) WHAT am i going to accomplih?
25 casino referrals in November of 2006
2) HOW am I going to do it
Classified/PPC marketing
3) WHEN do I want it done by?
November 30
4) HOW will I make it work?
I will create a website and polish it to bring in traffic. I will not rest until it is converting.
Find an affiliate program that offers a product of value- stay away from ClickBank.
Good luck
