Hello all, I'm a noob and this is my first post. First off, I want to say thanks to all of you guys bc I gotten invaluable info from this forum. So, you will def see me around more.
Now I think I found my niche and it gets around 3,500 searches monthly. The thing is, in google, no one has any sponsored ads for the term, in Yahoo only a couple of ads show up, MSN has zero ads also. I'm wondering if this number is too low for me to dive into and make $ and maybe, that's the reason no one has any ads? But, The top tier search term gets plenty of searches, but there are plenty of competitors.
Now when setting up my adwords campaign, I'm planning on focusing on the niche terms, should I be concerned that there are no competitors there? Also, should I set up an additional campaign for the top tier terms as well, although it's saturated? I read a book where a guy suggests people new to adwords, shouldn't try to jump out into the competitive spaces too soon.
Any advice would help, Thanks in advance.
