btw I'm russian and i'd suggest not even attempting marketing to the russian crowd. While it's true that every country has their share of idiots, in russia only the savvy have/spend any amount of time on the internet. Even for basic tasks. While in america, every other retard has internet.

Fact is, my boss just "gave" me an russsian internt, and I have no f***** idea what to do with her. She can only speak russian and english, and we mainly market to not english, not russian markets. So this is a good time to give her some research tasks and look into yandex.
Maybe I should just get her drunk !

Look, everyone has a healthy respect for Russians. I work with some Russian companies. I think Russian women are gorgeous, Russian traditions are wonderful.

But socialism is nothing to be proud of ok? Socialism or nationalism.

Socialism and nationalism have killed more people than all of the religions combined.

1) The biggest Russian run generic pharmacy is notorious for never having sent out a single order.
2)No one's saying Russia isn't intelligent. It's just impossible to market to.
And I'd never hire anyone there. I have in the past, and almost without exception got fucked in the end. It's really a shame too. It has some of the most talented coders I've ever seen. But that doesn't matter if anything I have them make will get sold out from under me.

I would love for Russia to get it's shit in order. Hell, I'd hire half the country.
But for right now? Fuck that.
