neverblue.com and neverblueads.com returns a blank page, no error. 7:41 CST on 11/16/08.

Anyone else having this issue?

If only there were a way for a web admin at a large company such as neverblue to have a monitor that could alert him if the fucking site/services were down..

Fucking ridiculous for a company that size. Seriously.

stuff like this can happen
anyway it would be cool to see it working properly asap, clicks are going nowhere as well, that's the bad part

I think someone is already working on it because clicks to aff offers are now giving different messages, not just white pages

Oh I totally disagree. Unless you have something major like a registrar DNS fuckup or your ISP can't maintain service levels, a company that size has no excuse to be down, period.

Not being argumentative with you, more pissed at N3verblue.

Hey,
Sorry about the trouble with Neverblue.com this weekend. We were experiencing a very high level of traffic on our database and that is what caused these errors. Because of this problem we have begun working on error reporting to eliminate confusion in the future. The problem has been resolved and no tracking was lost.
If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.

So if you grow and your affiliates push more and more clicks to your server, you don't have a plan in place to scale with the traffic? Too many db connections ... that's what caused the downtime? You've got to be kidding me. Monitor that shit!

The problem has been resolved and no tracking was lost.

What about the offers that went to your servers and showed a white page and never fired off the tracking pixel ... that's obviously lost traffic but I see no mention of that in your post. If you're going to take responsibility do it, we don't do 1/2 truths around here.

I'm coming across as a grumpy ex and I get that, but I only push a small amount of my traffic through neverblue ... this doesn't give me incentives to push more.

I have to totally agree with bb. You've got money, fix your problems. It's just hosting and can be a non-issue for almost nothing compared to the revenue you guys rake in. Affiliates depend on your offers being up, if your servers are the weak link in the chain, we can always replace it with something stronger.

I know it was just 20 minutes or so, and if that was a normal site I would have no emotion attached to it. 20 minutes for a site that pushes the traffic that you guys do, that's $1000's in lost sales for the whole.
